On January 30th, I received a prophetic dream that has dual meanings: Both are warnings of what is to come: one in the physical and the other in the SPIRIT.
DREAM:
In this dream I was in a foreign city that had a Mexican or 'South of the Border feel to it. I was walking around an outdoor open market, where merchants were selling their wares. In the distance, I saw a man about to purchase something, so I quickly walked over to see what he was buying. It was a very ornate, Spanish style, wooden dressing/make-up table, that was very expensive. The man said he was buying it for me. I immediately stopped the transaction, and told him that I didn't want it....instead I just wanted an oil lamp!
As I then looked around, I noticed that there were oil lamps all around me! Every store vendor seemed to be now selling nothing but oil lamps! I saw big lamps, small ones, many varied styles, as well as multiple shapes and colors. Each one seemed different and unique.
I then looked up at the roof tops, and noticed that there were even lamps on the flat roofs above. My eyes locked in on a specific one---it was an oil lamp that had a cage around it, with handles for easy carrying. I thought that was an awesome design, and I knew it was the one I wanted! I then woke up!
FIRST INTERPRETATION: Warning!
When I woke up, the first thing that came to my mind, was that the oil lamps, all around the city, represented that the electricity was out, and people were using the lamps instead.
I then immediately remember the prophecy of a prophet, who was told by the LORD that an asteroid was going to hit near Puerto Rico, causing an enormous earthquake that will be felt around the world. The earthquake would cause a tsunami that would hit and wipe out parts the east coast of America.
Since my dream took place in a 'south of the border' country, this might be a warning for a catastrophe that starts south of the U.S., and then comes to North America as well. This is not the first time that the LORD has shown me a catastrophe coming from the south. This disaster, whatever it might be, will bring a 'lights out event.'
"For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine." Isaiah 13:10
SECOND INTERPRETATION: The 10 Virgins -Matthew 25
The spiritual interpretation that I got was an awesome one!
All the oil lamps, that I saw in my dream, represent the Bride of Christ taking their oil lamps, and trimming them with oil, as they wait for HIS coming!
“but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Matthew 25:4
The man in my dream was buying a dressing/make-up table for me, so I could be consumed with my pride and flesh. Make-up, beautiful clothes, looking in the mirror at myself.....all works of the flesh. Instead, I rejected that, and choose an item that had spiritual connotations and Godly significance, an oil lamp.
The many different kinds of oil lamps that were all around me, in the dream, represents the different Christians and their cultures around the world. We are now being given lamps, and we are to fill them up with the oil of the HOLY SPIRIT! We must get ready, for our Bridegroom comes!
It is almost midnight and call is going forth.....
“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!" Matthew 25:6
When HE comes at midnight, I believe that this will be the darkest time for humanity. Only those with the oil in their lamps will have their path illuminated for HIS coming.
This dream is a sign of HIS close return, as HIS BRIDE WAKES UP and trims their lamps all over the world! It is time for them to come out from their slumber!
"But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept." Matthew 25:5
Once HE comes, it will be too late for many who were not prepared. Many will be banging on the door of salvation, but alas, HE will say,
"I never knew you." (Matthew 25:12)
So, let us get our houses in order spiritually. Let's fill up our lives with the power of the HOLY SPIRIT and become the LIGHT BEARERS for CHRIST. Let us take this light down the straight and narrow path that leads only in to the arms of OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.
OUR BRIDEGROOM COMES.....THE KINGS OF ALL KINGS!!
