On March 10th 2018 I woke up the words:
'the 12th appropriation'
After much prayer and Scripture reading, the LORD has given me the interpretation of what HE was pointing to: learning how to 'appropriate' the BLOOD OF JESUS into your life.
'Appropriate' means to:
-- take for oneself
-- take possession of
-- to seize
-- to consent
In other words, we are to APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS onto ourselves.
The '12' in the above 'word,' represents the church and its unity, as this is what the 12 disciples represented. Hence, the CHURCH IS TO APPROPRIATE THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST!
HOW are we to do that?
FIRST we must understand that the BLOOD OF JESUS does many things! IT IS ONE OF OUR GREATEST WEAPONS AGAINST THE ENEMY! It is a spiritual warfare tactic that is not talked much about anymore! However, the BLOOD OF JESUS not only saves us from our sins, but it delivers and protects us when it is used correctly! Declaring it OUT LOUD is a powerful force against evil!
FIRST, there are 2 main pre-requisites to declaring HIS BLOOD:
1) ONE must be completely surrendered, submitted and humbled before HIM.
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7
2) ALL known sins must be confessed and turned away from and there must be no unforgiveness in your heart.
--"This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Matthew 26:28
--"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace" Ephesians 1:7
--"But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses" Matthew 11:26
DELIVERANCE:
The BLOOD OF JESUS can deliver us from:
-- the power of darkness
"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves" Colossians 1:13
--the power of death
"Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—" Hebrews 2:14
--disables the spiritual principalities and powers
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. " Ephesians 6:12
--destroys the works of the devil
"The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work." 1 John 3:8
--helps us overcome
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." Revelation 12:11
PROTECTION:
As Christians, we must go on the 'offensive' in spiritual warfare by declaring the BLOOD OF JESUS on us daily to keep the enemy from messing in our lives. The greatest principle in the Bible of how the BLOOD OF JESUS does this is through the story of the PASSOVER. The Israelites placed the BLOOD OF THE LAMB over their doorposts to keep the angel of death from entering their homes. You can read the story in Exodus. They were PROTECTED by the sign of the blood of the LAMB then from the spirit of death and destruction that was coming to kill the firstborns from each household.
The Passover is a 'type' and an 'example' of the protection that JESUS's BLOOD offers us when we apply it on ourselves and family.
OUR TESTIMONY:
In Revelation 12:11 it talks about that we overcome the devil by 2 things:
--the BLOOD of the LAMB
--our testimony
One way to give our 'testimony' is to make declarations out loud. I have learned this principle through Derek Prince's teachings (I will put the book down below).
When we 'testify' to what the BLOOD OF JESUS does, we are appropriating it! We are receiving it and making it our own!
This is what the BLOOD OF JESUS DOES FOR US:
--gives us the BOLDNESS to enter into the presence of GOD (Hebrew 10:14)
--it CRIES OUT CONTINUALLY to GOD in heaven on our behalf (Hebrews 12:24)
--it REDEEMS us out of the hands of the devil (Ephesians 1:7)
--it CLEANSES us continually from all sin (1 John 1:7)
--it JUSTIFIES us as if we had never sinned (Romans 5:9)
--it makes us HOLY and SETS US APART (Hebrews 13:12)
--it SANCTIFIES us (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
Since the BLOOD OF JESUS covers all of our sins, protects us and delivers us, we MUST as the BODY of CHRIST, learn how to claim it by faith. Through prayer, we can plead, ask, and claim the BLOOD OF JESUS over all that belongs to us. I do this every morning after praying. I claim OUT LOUD the BLOOD OF JESUS over all my loved ones, my property, my body, my health, my possession and my ministry. I also use these 2 Prayers from Derek Prince that I find all inclusive:
1st Prayer:
"Thank you, GOD, for the precious blood of JESUS. Thank YOU for the redemptive blood of Christ. Thank you for the justifying, sanctifying, precious blood of the LAMB OF GOD. Blessed by the name of the LORD! I praise you, JESUS, for YOU paid the price of my redemption. You shed YOUR precious blood on the cross. You are the LAMB slain from the foundation of the world. And now, LORD , I have taken the blood from the basin and transferred it to my own personal needs by the hyssop of my testimony." "AMEN [1]
2nd Prayer:
"Through the BLOOD of JESUS, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Through the blood of JESUS, all my sins are forgiven. The BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, GOD's SON, cleanses me continually from all sin. Through the blood of JESUS, I am justified, made righteous, just-as-if-I'd never sinned. Through the BLOOD OF JESUS, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to GOD. My body is a temple for the HOLY SPIRIT, redeemed, cleansed, sanctified by the BLOOD OF JESUS."
THEREFORE, satan has no place in me, now power over me through the blood of JESUS, I renounce him, loose myself from him and command him to leave me now in the name of JESUS CHRIST. AMEN [1]
To understand the meanings behind these prayers and how to apply the BLOOD appropriately, I highly recommend reading the book, 'BOUGHT WITH THE BLOOD'' by Derek Prince.
As we all know, the spiritual attacks are increasing and the war is raging! The LORD has given us ALL the weapons of our warfare and now is the time for us to be engaging!

I agree with your assessment and God's commission to fight the enemy.
When the enemy is actively using a stronghold that he has developed in a person (generally due to a sin such as unforgiveness), he is able to seize power over that person (even though he might not be allowed to possess them). When that happens, the person believes the enemy's lies, gets caught up in the deeply distressing emotion, and surrenders his/her free will to the enemy.
You can recognize when you see it. In that moment, the person doesn't respond to logic or reason, and their anger/fear increases. Whatever you try to say gets twisted into something else. Truth is thrown to the ground.

In March Jesus put me in a protective place, free from attacks and confusion.
At first, I REALLY appreciated that the dark pressure was Off but months later
I became very concerned as I could not make headway. I stayed praising
Jesus as always.
HIS LIGHT is raising up my Spirit once again. I am so grateful that GOD
has started up the clock once again as HE paused it for many months.
I was getting desperate for the shift to finish.
It's TIME to rise up and take control.

After reading your words above about applying the blood of Jesus...I realized that I have already been doing this since about a year ago with promptings from the Holy Spirit - the instructions you gave above have been what I have already been doing and never understood why out of the blue I began to do this - thank-you for posting this - it was confirmation for me.
