Part 1 – the start of the end I was a missionary at the mission headquarters, and we were sent to different locations. Before leaving, we were given the opportunity to choose items to take with us. I remember there were these red sashes and clothing items that looked cool that I wanted to take with me, but others quickly took them all first, so instead I took this old multitool on a table. It looked like it belonged to someone else though when I asked they told me I could take it.
We arrived at our destination, which was a dilapidated cabin in the Utah desert. We had been told this cabin belonged to a prepper – he built it because he knew the start of the end of the world was coming. It was important that he specified the “start” of the end, not just the end. We found no one was there, but there was this strange pole with a speaker and microphone outside the cabin that we used successfully to communicate with the owner. The owner told us that he had learned the start of the end was coming so hurriedly built this cabin.
Then the start happened. There was an eclipse (I think), and then our genetics were changed. One missionary’s genetics were messed up – the bad genes somehow twisted his feet disrupting his ability to walk. I think my genetics might have been improved. I tried to help the missionary with the messed up genes, but I don’t recall if I succeeded.
Part 2 - Eye Doctor
I was an eye doctor and received a patient whose eye had also been affected by the new genetic problem. His eye was irritated but not blind. I prescribed him to rub a paste into his eyes, take eye drops daily, and wash his eyes with clean water daily. I remember my fee was very low (like $20 for my time, and $20 for the eye drops), and that all of my treatments were very cheap and common. However the man became angry – I got the impression that my cure for his eye problems was too simple. He wanted a more complicated diagnosis, and wanted fancy prescription drugs rather than cheap publicly available ones. He told me I was wasting his money, and he didn’t pay me or take my advice.
Interpretation
Like many of my dreams posted here, upon waking up I initially doubted there was anything special about the dream until I pondered more; which is funny because almost all dreams I remember end up having a spiritual meaning nowadays.
Timeline
Firstly, this dream to me is a confirmation of the timeline of end times I have posted about previously (dream post: false rapture, 3 days of darkness, transfiguration, restoring god’s kingdom ; lots of scriptures: the-roadmap-to-the-end-you-were-never-taught). The solar eclipse represents (I think) the three days of darkness, and the emphasis on this being the start of the end, rather than just the end, confirms that the three days indeed come at the start of the tribulation rather than the end of the tribulation.
One theory I’ve heard is that shortly following the three days of darkness, the 144,000 will receive their calling and will also somehow be transfigured to have more celestial bodies (though they aren’t eternal yet seeing they can still be martyred). My genetics following the eclipse improving could be a confirmation of this (Note: I also have had dreams where I am on Satan’s side, and other roles, so I can’t say this means I myself will be part of the 144,000). The deeper part of the theory is that the 98% of human genes which are “junk DNA” already contain the genes for this transfiguration, these genes only need to be activated to initiate the transfiguration.
The flipside is Satan has his own genetic alterations he is trying to push on people (which will be finalized with the mark of the beast) which somehow prevent transfiguration and turn people into obedient servants of Satan. So following the three days of darkness, genetic alterations (and other tech inserted into us) that are from Satan will also be activated. This worries me because I took 1/2 vax shots – I will be praying to roll back any biological/technological warfare in my body from this. This all is the meaning of one of the missionaries having his genetics messed up after the eclipse.
Eye Doctor
The fact the person’s eyes were messed up reminds me of a different dream I had (posted here) where I learned that Satan influences by altering how we perceive the world and interpret facts so that we unwittingly do his will. This present dream implies that Satan’s genetic manipulations will give him greater ability to control our perceptions (literally change our eyesight).
The patient’s anger that my prescription was too simple also represents how many react to Christianity: They are looking for a complex solution to their problems that only experts can truly understand, and Christianity is too simple for them to take seriously. Pride plays a role here: people want to have difficult solutions because if the solution is too easy, people feel dumb having the problem in the first place. The idea that they need a higher degree holding person with secret knowledge to solve their problems doesn’t hurt their pride as much as the idea that a simple religion that even children understand could have solved their problems had they followed it.
Since my patient wasn’t self-aware of his inner motivations, he ended up complaining about my cost, when the solution he wanted would have been of course 10x more expensive. How many people say they don’t read the scriptures daily because they don’t have the time, but then spend vast amounts of money and time seeking treatment from psychologists and the like? Some scriptures pertinent to this are the Healing of Naaman (2 Kings 5) and Moses and the bronze serpent (Numbers 21:6-9).
The Multitool
An integral part of my personal spiritual journey actually was my mistakes that led to my losing my job and great embarrassment. This put me into a humbler state of mind ready to read the scriptures and pray. I believe many have similar storis. We see a parallel here in the dream: I had wanted fancy clothing (earthly success), but since I was denied this, instead I took the old multi tool (which represents the Scriptures).
Some things I am not totally sure of:
The run down cabin in the Utah desert – could this represent the lonesome position many put themselves in during their preparations? Why did the bad genetics specifically effect the missionary’s feet? Why did the owner of the cabin communicate through a speaker on a pole?
I think the cures I had to eye problems (a paste to rub in the eye, eye drops, and washing with clean water) could have perhaps represented anointing oneself, washing oneself of sin, and putting in the work, but I feel there is more.
Thanks for reading my dream!
