Hello to those who are seeking places of safety here in the UK.
I have been reading through many of the posts in this forum. It is interesting to read the comments, warning against openly advertising locations. I also see comments on warning to not be gullible.
I agree to an extent with both trains of thought. We do need to be careful. Yet, at the same time, this forum is a place to connect. From there we trust the Lord to lead us, regardless of which nation we live in.
I am personally very much aware, that the Lord will direct the paths of those who earnestly seek Him for directions. When the time is right, the Lord will do this thing. At the same time, we need to make ourselves ready. Wolves in sheep's clothing, also comes to mind. I do believe the enemy, will also seek to infiltrate the camp, as he so often does.
Where will these places of refuge be established? I cannot say, only that the Lord will do it.
As for my wife and I and another couple whom we have become great friends with, are open books. We have got together, though we are a big distance from one another and shared ideas and thoughts about practical things to consider.
We have crossed over the line of " if the Lord wants to do this ", to now where and when. The UK, doesn't really offer tracks of land as vast as in some other nations, like the USA and in Africa. But sufficient enough, to hide in safety, not necessarily in comfort.
Our weather conditions here in the UK will prove to be challenging.
I mentioned in another post, we mostly all have different ideas on where the church will be when things become really difficult and challenging. I believe we will be right where we need to be at the time. Will we be fixed to one location? I believe, yes and no. This is why I refer to " places " of refuge scattered across the nations. Fleeing from one place to another probably will be our way of life.
The devil will chase after what is God's to persecute them, even to put them to death.
Living in the last of days, is not going to be a walk in the park.
Anyway, if you are interested in sharing thoughts , please get in touch. Blessings
I just want to say that I have been having great difficulty getting Signal downloaded on my phone - countless attempts but I also know my phone is quite old and have been having issues downloading apps before. I know you have reservations about WhatsApp but it's the only other alternative I have on my phone, or basic email /txing to keep in touch. So I hope you both can make an exception for me - to connect to your group through these other ways.
I do feel it on my heart to now be seeking places of refuge for the times we are in and you both are very kind helpful people in the Lord.
