Hello all of you who are expressing an interest in safe havens / places of refuge etc.
Would we all consider doing an agreed venue chat call on an available platform. I used to do Facebook, but no longer. I don't use WhatsApp either, as it is owned by Facebook. There is an app called Signal, where live video calls and texts can be done.
I understand folks have varying perspectives on places of refuge / safe havens. There are existing Christian communities in the UK, but not sure of their purpose. Places of refuge, as I understand will be established for end time purposes, for provision for believers seeking safety from persecutions etc. Needless to say, I believe the church is going to be present when things become really difficult. What need then would there be for safe havens / places of refuge. Those interested in these things, would you be kind enough to respond with some ideas on how we can connect and establish friendships to the possibility of this end.
The best option here is, i have forwarded out contact numbers. Give either or both of us a call. I then can add you on my contacts list. Then you download Signal on your device. You would need to add us in your contact list. Once you have downloaded Signal, create a friend list then send us an invite to be friends. I can then add you to the chat group. We can then engage in conversation with whoever is on the list. Signal works very similar to WhatsApp, but I think is easier and it's a stand alone app.
Hope this makes sense. We have used Signal for bible study purposes with folks from Alabama, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and of course here in the UK. It works well enough.
