Iam Canadian living in colombia in moutain area.....the idea of colombia is the price dollar exchange is 3 times the american dollar so stocking up n food and accomodations is very easy if you have someone to tell you the good spots i shouldnt post emails i know but anyone serious the time is soon do not worry about visas when you arrive you receive 6 months but you can extend it idefinetley if youknow the tricks anyways friends in colombia own 600 acres of farm land fully stocked with cattle horses chickens complete in other words if you have my email saved and you a person of god the wife and i would always help once you land here maybe there will be a few days warming where people can get out of country in the last few days if that is the case fly to el dorado airport bogota colombia ....email me for more info just as example here in the mountains you can stay in a motel for 12 $ american per night ...it really is that cheap here here is email shawn.gl@mail.com
