Brothers and Sisters,
The LORD has laid it on my heart, in the last few weeks, to do a study on the GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT. I do not want to give you my own interpretation, but instead allow the working of the HOLY SPIRIT in your life, as you read below what the WORD says.
If you have been born-again through JESUS CHRIST, then you have been given gifts from the HOLY SPIRIT. Each one of us have been given different gifts to use in order to help the BODY OF CHRIST in some way.
It is important to understand that we don't all have the same gifts, because we are different members of HIS BODY.
"For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them" Romans 12:4-6
Once we know what gift(s) we may have, we are not only to exercise them, but we are also to still seek the 'higher' gifts. I believe this happens when the LORD places in us the 'desire' for a gift we don't have. Through prayer and fasting, we can talk to the LORD about this desire.
"Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way." 1 Corinthians 12:31
What are these 'greater gifts'?
1 Corinthians 12:28 gives us an answer:
"And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues"
The best place to start to find out what are your spiritual gifts, is by reading
1 Corinthians 12. That is the best discourse and explanation of what the gifts are, and what they are for. Below you will see that I listed the different spiritual gifts from that chapter, as well as from Ephesians 4 and Romans 12.
After reading though the different gifts, if you still are unsure of what yours are, then seek the LORD earnestly through prayer. Seek and you will find.....knock and the door will be opened to you!

SPIRITUAL GIFTS:
Prophecy:
"if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith" Romans 12:6
Ministering/Serving:
"for ministry, let us use it in our ministering;" Romans 12:7
Teaching:
" he who teaches, in teaching" Romans 12:7
Exhortation:
" he who exhorts, in exhortation" Romans 12:8
Giving:
"he who gives, with liberality" Romans 12:8
Leadership:
" he who leads, with diligence" Romans 12:8
Merciful:
"he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness" Romans 12:8
Wisdom:
" To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom" 1 Corinthians 12:8
Knowledge:
"to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit" 1 Corinthians 12:8
Faith:
"to another faith by the same Spirit" 1 Corinthians 12:9
Healing:
" to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit"

Miracles
" to another miraculous powers" 1 Corinthians 12:10
Discernment:
"to another distinguishing between spirits" 1 Corinthians 12:10
Speaking in Tongues:
"to another speaking in different kinds of tongues" 1 Corinthians 12:10
Interpretations of Tongues:
"and to still another the interpretation of tongues" 1 Corinthians 12:10
Helping; Administration:
"And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues." 1 Corinthians 12:28
Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors Teachers:
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11
