mark of the beast to obtain magical abilities
I had a dream where my family was intergenerational practitioners of witchcraft. Most of my life was the same, except I had been given "magic" classes. At the "graduation" of my magical education, I learned I had to receive the mark of the beast - where I swore to always obey satan - in order to finalize my magical abilities. This is similar to a different dream I have had where I had to receive the mark of the beast to obtain a promotion in my job.
Edit - the following dream I believe was false, for the following reasons:
1. It was in a lucid dream (in that I knew I was dreaming)
2. It mentions new age ideas (law of attraction).
3. It delivers no actionable advice, nor has any positive messages.
4. It depicts a UFO (again, connected to new age ideas, which are bad).
5. Spirit guides - another connection (sort of) to new age ideas.
So, i think it is false, read at your own advisement. However, I'm just a person, I've got no idea what I'm doing.
visiting the future and questioning a guide
I had parked in a smaller parking lot by a freeway and saw a UFO. I immediately thought to take a picture of it, but then realized that the picture wouldn't work because I knew I was in a dream, and I remember marveling at how real everything seemed. Somehow I knew that I was looking at the future. There was a man with a tweed suit and greying hair in the parking lot who I started questioning about the events that would unfold in the future.
Before answering any questions the man seemed to think it was important to explain a cycle in life:
1. Suffering leads to negative attitudes
2. Negative attitudes have the power to shape reality
3. These attitudes lead you to have even more suffering
Then I started to ask the man questions.
I asked him what would happen in the future. He told me there would be a virus that entered people's brain through their ear cavity. He spoke of the brain as having multiple layers, of which the virus would steadily proceed to the innermost core. I asked him when the virus would start and he said December of 2023 (right now is September of 2024).
I asked him how far he was in the future and he said one year. I asked him if there would be a civil war and he nodded. Then he told me that Kamala would be illegally chosen as candidate (so I think democrat party candidate, not actually president), and that there would be three increasingly urgent secret service briefs about this, but that no one in the government would step in. I asked him if there would be a world war and he said no, but that there would be another regional war. I asked him if this war would be in Europe, and he smiled as if the answer was yes, but i never got a definitive confirmation because the dream ended.
interpretation
1) The virus that enters peoples minds seems to be more of a spiritual one since obviously there was no new physical virus that emerged in December 2023. Could it be possible that people who have made bad life choices end up giving away some of their free agency to Satan, and when they are "activated" in the future, they will be willing to support extremely oppressive government policies?
2) The democrat party illegally choosing Kamala to be their candidate clearly does not constitute "civil war" so it is sort of confusing why he nodded yes as if implying there would be a civil war. Is it a cold civil war within the government that the average person isn't aware of?
3) Territorial war in Europe. Could this be Turkey vs Greece?
4) If in the dream I was told it was a year in the future, but the guide told me about things that already happened, that could mean the timing of "a year in the future" could be relative to a time in the past, thus making the dream take place less distantly in the future than initially thought.
5) lots of dreams turn out to be false. When analyzing end times prophecies, the goal in my view is to find common threads among many different dreams. So if topics in these two dreams don't align with other dreams you have read/had, then DON'T BELIEVE THEM. If i am skeptical of my own dream, you should be extremely skeptical of it.
magical abilities
There has been concern over prophetic ministries that might be using dark-spirit powers, knowingly or unknowingly. Clues might be greed behind prayers; overly-powerful leaders; aspiration to be great instead of humble servants of God.
