Last night I had some demonic activity in my dreams, maybe Satan came himself, but I don’t know for sure on that last point. Here’s the dream:

Some people from my past, two girls, were discussing what it would be like to be a Bride of Satan. Both girls are supposedly Christian, so that was my first red flag. I believe these were demons in disguise. One girl said, “Yeah there’s a great book that talks all about it.” I don’t remember what else they said.

Then a demon in the form of David Bowie showed up and he was pretending to be Satan. He asked if I wanted to be a Bride of Satan and I was hesitant. Then the girls from before turned into forms of David Bowie as well. I remember saying something like, “I have heard about you Satan, but now I have seen you for myself.” Then Satan said that he would get a diaper for my daughter who was upstairs in the dream but sleeps next to us in her own bed in real life. I was hesitant again but allowed him to get the diaper, thinking he wouldn’t harm my baby.

End of dream. The baby was awake so while I cared for her I had time to process and remember the dream.

I was hesitant!! Not saying “Get out of here you rascal!” or anything like that. That is the scariest part of this dream, and the reason I was hesitant is because he played to my pride, saying I could be a Bride of Satan and have high rank in the realm of darkness. It’s like offering the CEO of Apple the CEO position at Huawei (not that I’m a CEO, just an example). There has to be some kind of special offer for us to go to the dark side, like Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars thinking he could keep Padme from dying so he turned into Darth Vader. I will be repenting to God for this.

Notice also the phrase about seeing Satan for myself is similar to a verse in the Bible. “I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes.” -Job 42:5 Satan always twists God’s Word. Perhaps the phrase was placed in my mind for me to say it back to him.

Also, the fact that I let him get a diaper for my daughter shocks me. I know Satanic followers harm all sorts of living beings, including babies. But he didn’t ask to hold her or anything requiring intimacy, just offered to get a diaper. Me saying yes to this first step would be key to letting him get a foot in the door so to speak. Be vigilant, saints.
