I had a very brief dream the other night and i was trying to dismiss it but it is odd so i thought I could ask someone if they could interpret? Perhaps it is nothing but i will put it out there.
I was outside i don' remember who was with me but it was family. All of a sudden a black crow landed on my head and began to peck at my scalp. It actually drew blood. I was taken back a minute then quickly reached up grabbed it around the beak. I heard a voice say what are you going to do? I said it will not hurt anyone else and i hate to say this i broke its neck.
Been really fighting some battles as i disciple a new family...i have never ever seen a family under such attack. My nearest guess with this is the crow symbolizes evil attacks and after i realized what was happening i took authority over it. I cant imagine a crow drawing blood is a good thing. Is this a warning?
Thanks guys.
A sister in.

A Possible Interpretation
You (or a group of people) were outside (separate and independent) but with (in the midst of) relatives or a dynasty (empire) or a church family. Unexpectedly someone devious, underhanded and dishonest, (perhaps someone who is squealer, an informer or a gossiper) settled in on you to catch (trap, capture, ensnare) you.
He wanted to capture your mind (thinking, believing, reasoning), to bite (jab, dig at, wound) you emotionally (mentally), for to draw blood can mean to injure someone emotionally, too. He may do this through slander, too.
He seemed to be mocking you, egging you on, just daring you to do or say something. So, you grabbed (seized, snatched, removed) it around the mouth (insolence, impertinence, disrespect), and you broke (defeated) its neck (kiss – smack – sharp strike – criticism against you).
I am wondering here if this is about you or someone or a group of people who are living separate lives unto God and who are not following after the crowd and doing what the world is doing, and so you or they are being faced with verbal persecution in the form of gossip or slander, or in the form of some type of cutting or sarcastic remarks hoping to ruffle your feathers in hope that you will do or say something to ensnare yourself. But, you got a hold of the situation and you “took the bull by the horns,” so to speak, and you defeated this trap, these words spoken against you, and you didn’t let them get the best of you.
The Lord put this song in my mind after I read and was praying about your dream.
Awaken the Dawn
An Original Work / January 15, 2013
Based off Psalm 57 (NIV 1984)
O my God, have mercy on me!
In the Lord, my soul takes refuge.
In the shadow of Your wings, Lord,
I find shelter till the storms pass.
I cry out to my God Most High.
He fulfills His purpose for me.
He sent His Son to die for me,
So I could be saved.
I am in the midst of lions;
Men whose teeth are spears and arrows;
Whose tongues are sharp; words accusing.
They spread a net, my feet to catch.
They dug a pit, in hopes I’d fall.
O God, be exalted o’er all.
Let Your glory shine to all men,
So they may be saved.
Steadfast is my heart, O my God;
I will sing of all Your wonders.
Awake, my soul! Sing praise to God!
Early I will rise and praise Him!
I’ll praise God among the nations;
I will sing among the peoples.
God’s love reaches to the heavens,
So we may be saved.
