We live in the country and there is a whole incredible story of how we got here God's provision. But we have also had some trials and this summer has been jam packed with them.
We had a shallow well 37 ft. And this summer we had some issues with it. My husband for years has said we needed a deep well and that we can't have the kind of garden we want because he can't water like wants on the shallow well.
I have always trusted God to bless the little well. Although we never ran out of water it was sketchy over the summer. We are already extremely conservative... but we became down right strategic. It was spitting sand ruined a water filter....
Well a family member of my husband's told us they wanted to pay for us to have a deep well dug. I had reservations for many reasons... from a practical view point if there is no electricity, no gasoline to run a generator? How will we get water out of the expensive new well?
My husband tried everything in his power to get anyone out here to dig this well. The two main drillers in our area are so backed up. They put us on waiting list and implied it could be next year.
Well 3 weeks ago we get a call that they are ready to come out and drill. My husband was ecstatic! They started drilling October 11th. The 2nd day of Sukkot. They finished on the 14th. They told us the main guy would be out in a week or two to set the pump and flush it.
He showed up on the following Monday the 17th. And I realized this was the last and final day of the feast of Tabernacles.
And then I was reminded of John 7:37-38 when Jesus went to the feast of tabernacles.
37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
My well pumped out over 10,000 gallons of water when we flushed it.
On the last and greatest day of the feast of tabernacles.
It's an incredible testimony I wanted to share and I know it has deep spiritual over/undertones.
Paid in full. He is the source he is the living water! The way the truth and the life!
Shalom to the body of Christ Praise You Lord Jesus. It make me cry when God do miracles in people’s life. Our God is Dunamis power. He is mighty and powerful. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. Thanks to the Lord
