Wow...interesting how everyone is assuming its for/about the macro. I believe its a personal Rhema Word for you, that God has you on a Trajectory. God often if not always accomplishes multiple purposes with one thing; so it could for the macro but that would redundant as we know we are at The End. So, ya, I think this is personal for you. If I had more context about you I could connect the dots probably. I encourage you to just ask Holy Spirit if its for you and if so to elaborate, give you revelation. Sounds to me like He has particular plans for you. Someone who mentored me for a season regarding Dreams etc said it was her experience and its been mine that at first you'll receive stuff that is only for you, but then once you grow in interpreting, then it will expand to others.
