Thanks for organizing it that way, for more insight.
I ran across a great scriptural description of demons and exorcism. Long, but easy to listen to without watching:
Halfway through he has some points I haven't heard in Derek Prince (might have missed).
Word "Angels" means messenger, so not defining a predictable form and behavior; likewise a fallen messenger will not be predictable, consistent, nor matching other fallen angels.
Demons not tied to space and time. They can set placeholders where people have given them permission, then come and go, influence others.
Prayer is key, relationship with the Father is key; sometimes prayer is all that's needed.
Confession of sin of the exorcist clears way for God's authority that comes with our salvation. If we are not right with God before starting, we lose grip.
We might push ourselves into religious ritual/asceticism that is not of God, and get way off track. (Ignatius example cited). Stay scriptural and simple.
Sorry if this is hijacking your thread. It just seemed to follow where the mind might go next.
