This isn't exactly a vision, just an observation.
Why was God so displeased with a simple Census? I think it is because David was trusting in the strength of his Army instead of putting his trust in God. The purpose of the Census was to see how many men of fighting age he had available.
And once again we see Trump bragging about how much money he is pouring into the Military. We see him challenging other members of NATO to spend more money on their military. We see a great deal of threatening Iran and gloating over the death of General Soleimani. This nation IS NOT TRUSTING IN GOD. Like when other Kings went into Battle WITHOUT first consulting the Priest (making a sacrifice) and asking for God's Blessing. Every time Israel acted presumptuously like this they were defeated.
I just got done reading the post from Marie:
prophetic word: turning back on the DAY OF BATTLE
"The children of Ephraim (USA), being armed and carrying bows,
Turned back in the day of battle.
Sure, we have a LOT of Military Might, but we have turned back Spiritually.
The fate of Israel in the Psalms very much matches the fate suffered by David.
CAPTIVITY, THE SWORD AND FIRE as it says in Psalms 78:61-64:
Though this time I do not think God will give us a choice!!
I think this time we will get ALL THREE of the Judgements
"11 So Gad came to David and said, “These are the choices the Lord has given you. 12 You may choose three years of famine, three months of destruction by the sword of your enemies, or three days of severe plague as the angel of the Lord brings devastation throughout the land of Israel. Decide what answer I should give the Lord who sent me.”
13 “I’m in a desperate situation!” David replied to Gad. “But let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great. Do not let me fall into human hands.”
14 So the Lord sent a plague upon Israel, and 70,000 people died as a result. 15 And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But just as the angel was preparing to destroy it, the Lord relented and said to the death angel, “Stop! That is enough!” At that moment the angel of the Lord was standing by the threshing floor of Araunah[a] the Jebusite.
16 David looked up and saw the angel of the Lord standing between heaven and earth with his sword drawn, reaching out over Jerusalem. So David and the leaders of Israel put on burlap to show their deep distress and fell face down on the ground. 17 And David said to God, “I am the one who called for the census! I am the one who has sinned and done wrong! But these people are as innocent as sheep—what have they done? O Lord my God, let your anger fall against me and my family, but do not destroy your people.”
Only a Remnant will be saved by showing the same Repentance shown by David.
If we confess the sins being done by this Nation of Mystery Babylon.
If we 'come out of her my people'
that we do not become a Partaker of Her Plagues....
