Dream from January 20-smthg, 2022

I dreamt I was meeting people for a ceremony and I had 2 snakes on my fingers like rings, but the snakes swam off into the ocean after a rehearsal. We gathered in a circle to hold our hands up like a type of dance almost, snakes as rings on some of the peoples' fingers. Then a man began to preach saying, "Hold up your hands again. Now, if you're running a race, how do you expect diamonds to fall into your hands while you're running a race? (You wouldn't.) It's NOT about the diamonds. It's about receiving the strength/stamina to run a race."

A woman began to ask, "What are your talents?" And I knew mine was dance. And another man's talent was dance also. He demonstrated a short bit some of the moves he knew and ran off in embarrassment.

I believe the race represents the Christian race, and the diamonds could be mammon or anything a person is too focused on receiving from God that's not based in righteousness. In the dream it was obvious the guy meant it was ridiculous to run a race with the hands held up in the air instead of working to help the body balance. The talents are somehow important I believe but not sure why at this point.
