12/23/19 Last night I had a very disturbing dream...
In my dream. I walked into an old, large, storage warehouse. It was pitch black in there. I turned on a flashlight and then searched for the light switch. I found it, flipped it on, and the whole place lit up. As I began to walk through, I came upon a horrible sight. There in the darkness had been three forgotten, starving dogs. One was roaming around, fearful, searching for food and love. Another was chained up, almost completely blind and full of rage. The third lay at the feet of the chained dog. He was dead and almost completely devoured. The chained dog had eaten almost all of him, except his head, which was on the floor turning green with purification. The stench was unbearable. I felt sorrow and compassion for the poor dogs. So I walked over to a door that lead to their escape and I opened it up. The fearful dog came running to it and as he went through the door, I prayed for him to find a family where he would belong, be loved, safe, comforted and fed. I cautiously calculated my approach to the chained dog. He could sense me and he was angry. I found the source to where he was chained and released him, then as he smelled the fresh air coming from the open door, he ran towards it’s light, though he could barely see and he left. As he escaped, I also prayed the same prayer that he would find love, family, belonging, comfort and food.
My heart ached for them and I felt so sorry that they had ever been forgotten, made to starve and live in the dark. Then the dream ended and I woke up. It was 4:30am. I knew God had given me the dream so I prayed and asked Him to give me the interpretation. Immediately He gave me a verse of scripture and from there, the entire meaning began to unfold. The Scripture was Galatians 5:15
“But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.”
Here is the interpretation...
He said “these dogs are representing many in my Church. They are forgotten, starving for my true Word and in spiritual darkness. Some are stuck in their situations, afraid, not knowing how to escape, searching for spiritual nourishment and love. Others are chained to their past, their sins, their pain. They were rejected, forgotten and abandoned by their keepers and spiritual leaders and they have been blinded by their sins that has held them captive. They resorted to destroying each other with their words and actions. They are killing and destroying other believers who are weak and at the verge of death because they are so hurt and hungry (James 3- 4:14). They are in need of me and my healing.”
The Lord would lead me to their place of captivity. I was to turn on the light of the Truth of Christ, exposing their depravity. I was to offer them ‘The Door’ who is Jesus, so that they may once again escape their life of darkness and sin and find their identity in Christ alone. He would be the one to lead them to a true church family of believers that would love them, disciple them and feed them the truth of the Word of God. Jesus is The Way to their salvation and freedom! Some need you to just open the door and show them the way out. Others need to be carefully and lovingly approached and shown the way of escape after they are delivered/set free from whatever spiritual darkness had enslaved them. Forcing myself on the chained, blind dog would have been catastrophic, for I would have been seriously attacked and wounded in the process and he may have never been released. All situations are to be handled in serious prayer, for these individuals need to discover or rediscover their hope and freedom in Christ alone. In Galatians 5 it speaks of those who had been taught and began to believe a false Gospel. These lies had been given to them by false prophets that were full of selfishness and lusts. They are wolves in sheepskin that have infuriated the church.
2 Peter chapter 2 speaks of this. It says that God did not even spare the angels that sinned but bound them in chains of darkness, reserved for the judgement. The same judgement and death is reserved for these wolves and the dogs that follow them. They are dogs because 2 Peter 2:22 says that dogs return to their own vomit, which is a picture of a lifestyle of sin that had previously been thrown out, but then returned to. Paul speaks of them being estranged from Jesus “Cut off from Christ” and “Fallen from God’s grace” in verse 4 of Galatians 5. They had been cut off because they had not been believing the Only Truth, The Only Way and The Only Life. They had fallen into a trap and they were acting like ravenous wolves. The same wolves that had taught them the lies. Hebrews 2:3-4 says
“how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?”. These poor people will never escape their filth unless someone who is Spirit filled cares for them, sheds the True Light, exposing the lies and opens the way of escape to them. Their lives have been ravaged by the enemy, The Devil, who came to kill, steal and destroy.
Sin causes spiritual darkness, blindness and ultimately a severing from Christ. Death and destruction follow closely behind. We must never believe that anyone in willful, unrepentant, habitual sin, will ever inherit the kingdom of God (Hebrews 10:26-31). They will never escape from their prison and punishment if they aren’t rescued and once again given a chance to respond to the Truth of Jesus with true sorrow and repentance of sins, running to Him alone (Galatians 6:1)!
For it is written in Hebrews 12:14
“Continually pursue peace with everyone, and holy living, without which no one will ever see the Lord.” It is the job of those with The Truth and who are led by The Holy Spirit to show them the love and light of The Lord. Many will be tricked into believing that we can continue in sin and God will overlook it (2 Peter 2:2). This is a lie from the pit of Hell.
2 Corinthians 13:5
“Test, examine and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you-unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as a counterfeit?”
Please read these entire chapters for more insight. Galatians 5, 2 Peter 2 and I highly recommended the entire book of Hebrews. If anyone is in willful, habitual sin, they must repent or they will surely perish (Luke 13:3,5)🙏🏼.
2 Corinthians 4:4-6
“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. You see, we don't go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Revelation 21:8
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, those corrupted/despicable, the murderers, the perverted/sexually immoral, the drug dealers/abusers/sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur: which is the second death.”
