At about 3AM this morning I dreamed I was in a cottage in the Appalachian mountains in a small clearing surrounded by hardwood forest like where I live now. It was a clear sunny day when suddenly the power went out. Everything was quiet for a minute and I wondered what had happened since the day was clear. Then I started to hear small explosions in the distance and I went to a window which was partially covered with black cardboard to see what was going on. As I looked outside to the north the sky was still clear and, oddly, there was a beautiful double rainbow arched high directly over my cottage in a clear blue sky.

In the distance I could make out some kind of weather disturbance and at the same time the explosions were getting louder and now the ground was shaking somewhat with them, like when a train passes. From the north I looked to the northeast which seemed to be the direction the noise was coming from and saw the cause. A hail of rock and boulders was coming quickly in my direction. I knew my cottage would be no protection from this but then I remembered the rainbow and believed I would be safe.
