This morning the Lord gave me a picture of modern prophetic church services, compared to carp clamoring at a feeding.
Fish swim in dark waters... someone throws particles from above, and all the fish jump to compete for crumbs. Some get one crumb, others miss their chance. They go back to swimming.
At feeding, fish appear to be moving together; but they're just dashing toward target. There for food, then disperse when it's over. Not much interacting.
Fish never really connect with each other, even when shoulder-to-shoulder. They're out to feed self, not share with others.
Bright orange, attracting attention, but not getting it. Not giving it.
Fins to move, but no hands to give back work, or sense shapes.
One crumb gives fish enough to feel like they gained something, and should look for the same food source again.
Rarely given enough food to sustain. They do forage on their own, independently, but still dash for quick-n-easy food.
Fish gobble and push for more, before discerning what it is. Might spit it out if bad, might not.
They have eyes to see what's thrown at them, but hardly care what it is.
Manufactured pellets could have a mix of toxins in it, but fish don't stop to check. Their flesh stores toxins (mercury), passed on to their consumers/predators.
Providers tend to give the same pre-packaged food, knowing it has the same effect. Not checking the labels, or testing it for themselves.
Disclaimer: I am not posting this to discourage people from the prophetic, or churches, or criticize those involved. It is a tendency I've sensed in services for many years, but hadn't defined much. The feeding frenzy image described it for me. This could also apply to other seeker-friendly organizations, but the vision focused on current prophetic circles.
Lol, thanks! Very colorful. There's always at least one comical piece that comes together headless or tailless. (-;
I like the stare-down between the eyeless and the seeing one.
