On May 7, 2020, Christine Beadsworth released the following message about impending judgment this month and next of New York City. It reminded me of Ellen White's prophecies of fire consuming the skyscrapers of NYC and of David Wilkerson's similar prophecies. So I put all three of them together to compare them. First, Beadsworth's, then Wilkerson's and then Ellen White's:

This is just a short word, to relay what I have been shown. I was wakened just after midnight on May 6th and suspended before me, I saw a big red apple with a giant black bruise on it. Then I was looking down from a high vantage point at a city, full of skyscrapers and many lights. It was night time and I heard the Father say, ‘I will strike New York’. I remembered that this city is referred to as ‘the Big Apple’ and knew the bruise I had seen on the apple was due to being struck dead center. I mentioned that it had already been struck with covid 19 and He replied, “She will be struck from without” and for a split second, I wondered if He meant a military attack of some sort.

Then, in the left top corner of my vision, I saw flaming fireballs streaking down from space, so I had the sense that He was referring to a meteor strike and that the covid 19 outbreak did not connect with His statement of intent. The impact of the flaming meteors would be the strike. I prayed, “Oh Lord, remember there are Believers in New York. In judgement, please remember mercy?! David Wilkerson’s church has been there serving faithfully for many years”.

He said “Yes, I have My eye on them and my servant warned them all that fire would fall and cities would burn and I have sent many warnings, but they would not turn from their idolatry or cease their preoccupation with themselves or turn away from worshiping mammon. How many times must I warn them to cease their abominations? Is 40 years not enough for a man to turn his soul from sin? This whoring woman will burn like her sister Sodom”.

The way He said it, there was no arguing or changing His mind. It was a statement of fact. I wondered when this would happen and He highlighted the months of May and June this year for the commencement of the rain of fire, although it may occur at other times as well as we pass through the cloud of space dust we are presently entering.

David Wilkerson in his prophesy about cities burning quoted psalm 11:6, which I find interesting, as the psalmist mentions that God has His eye on the righteous, just as the Lord said to me when I mentioned Times Square Church.

Psa 11:6 Upon the wicked He will rain quick burning coals or snares; fire, brimstone, and a [dreadful] scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. Psa 11:7 For the Lord is [rigidly] righteous, He loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold His face, or He beholds the upright.

I wondered about the period of 40 years that the Lord mentioned as time given for grace to repent. So I looked up how long David Wilkerson had ministered in New York. He set up his Teen Challenge in Brooklyn in 1958 – so New York has had much longer than 40 years to repent. In 1986, while walking down 42nd Street in New York City at midnight, the Holy Spirit called him to return to New York City and to raise up a ministry in Times Square. The Lord has indicated that the time of grace for repentance is up for this city. Pray urgently that the Lord would send angels to thrust out those who are grieved at the sin of the city; that they may be removed to safety like righteous Lot, before judgement falls. Selah

AN URGENT MESSAGE

I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE - EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires—such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.

There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting—including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written,

“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (v. 3).

God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.

The prophet Jeremiah pleaded with wicked Israel, “God is fashioning a calamity against you and devising a plan against you. Oh, turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds. But they will say, It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart” (Jeremiah 18:11-12).

In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment—just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation.

WHAT SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS DO? WHAT ABOUT GOD’S PEOPLE?

First, I give you a practical word I received for my own direction. If possible lay in store a thirty-day supply of non-perishable food, toiletries and other essentials. In major cities, grocery stores are emptied in an hour at the sign of an impending disaster.

As for our spiritual reaction, we have but two options. This is outlined in Psalm 11. We “flee like a bird to a mountain.” Or, as David says, “He fixed his eyes on the Lord on his throne in heaven—his eyes beholding, his eyelids testing the sons of men” (v. 4). “In the Lord I take refuge” (v. 1).

I will say to my soul: No need to run...no need to hide. This is God’s righteous work. I will behold our Lord on his throne, with his eye of tender, loving kindness watching over every step I take—trusting that he will deliver his people even through floods, fires, calamities, tests, trials of all kinds.

Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.

Ellen White on NYC

We are living in the time of the end. The fast-fulfilling signs of the times declare that the coming of Christ is near at hand. The days in which we live are solemn and important. The Spirit of God is gradually but surely being withdrawn from the earth. Plagues and judgments are already falling upon the despisers of the grace of God. The calamities by land and sea, the unsettled state of society, the alarms of war, are portentous. They forecast approaching events of the greatest magnitude.

The agencies of evil are combining their forces and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones. . . .

On one occasion, when in New York City, I was in the night season called upon to behold buildings rising story after story toward heaven. These buildings were warranted to be fireproof, and they were erected to glorify their owners and builders. Higher and still higher these buildings rose, and in them the most costly material was used. Those to whom these buildings belonged were not asking themselves: “How can we best glorify God?” The Lord was not in their thoughts.

I thought: “Oh, that those who are thus investing their means could see their course as God sees it! They are piling up magnificent buildings, but how foolish in the sight of the Ruler of the universe is their planning and devising. They are not studying with all the powers of heart and mind how they may glorify God. They have lost sight of this, the first duty of man.”

As these lofty buildings went up, the owners rejoiced with ambitious pride that they had money to use in gratifying self and provoking the envy of their neighbors. Much of the money that they thus invested had been obtained through exaction, through grinding down the poor. They forgot that in heaven an account of every business transaction is kept; every unjust deal, every fraudulent act, is there recorded. The time is coming when in their fraud and insolence men will reach a point that the Lord will not permit them to pass, and they will learn that there is a limit to the forbearance of Jehovah.

The scene that next passed before me was an alarm of fire. Men looked at the lofty and supposedly fire-proof buildings and said: “They are perfectly safe.” But these buildings were consumed as if made of pitch. The fire engines could do nothing to stay the destruction. The firemen were unable to operate the engines.

I am instructed that when the Lord’s time comes, should no change have taken place in the hearts of proud, ambitious human beings, men will find that the hand that had been strong to save will be strong to destroy. No earthly power can stay the hand of God. No material can be used in the erection of buildings that will preserve them from destruction when God’s appointed time comes to send retribution on men for their disregard of His law and for their selfish ambition. {9T 11.1-13.2}
