The Lord’s ways are higher than our ways, and we often find ourselves working like treasure hunters seeking wisdom to understand the message or meaning of his communications. Here is one such personal experience I wanted to share with everyone, followed by two questions.
On March 6th I was sleeping peacefully, but two loud and very distinct knocks inside my bedroom woke me up. They were firm and sounded like if they were done on solid wood. I was wide awake, immediately, and without any thoughts I glanced at the clock right away. It was 3:40 AM.
I then proceeded to do some research about the biblical meaning of the #340 and found this:
Part of Speech: Verb Transliteration: anakainizó Phonetic Spelling: (an-ak-ahee-nid'-zo) Definition: to renew Usage: I make fresh again, renew, restore.
I then also proceeded to research if other brothers and sisters in Christ have made this unusual experience with the two knocks, and to my surprise there were several such cases in March 2019. Here are two examples I copied/pasted from elsewhere:
EXAMPLE #1:
This morning (3/5/19) at 1:08, 2 knocks in my room woke me up. I thought that there MUST BE some scripture that "fit" and then thought of Jeremiah. When I turned to Jeremiah 1:08, it did "fit". Jeremiah 1:08 (NIV) 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.
EXAMPLE #2:
This morning (3/11/19), when I FINALLY got up and out of my bed, I became MAD at myself because I had received 2 knocks at a certain time and I had forgotten the time. (I was STILL VERY TIRED!!!) So, I told the Lord I was sorry I didn't remember and would He let me know what time the knocks came. Then, as I went to my subscriptions, I saw this new film of the coming SUPERMOON ON THE EQUINOX and, as I watched, I remembered that the 2 knocks came at 4:14 AM. When I saw that the Supermoon will be 14% larger, I remembered!!!
Fourteen is the number of deliverance or salvation. Israel was delivered from Egypt by the Passover lamb that was killed on the 14th day of the first month (Passover). When the ship that was carrying Paul to Rome was caught in the storm, they were delivered on the 14th day (Acts 27:33, 34).
In sum, the specific hour of the night where these 2 knocks occurred seem to indicate this is a message of salvation, deliverance, restoration, renewal, rescue, to make fresh again, etc. They all have a common denominator mathematically speaking. So here are my questions:
1) Has anyone else on this forum heard these 2 knocks at night? What is your story?
2) Does anyone have any more insights into the meaning of the 2 knocks? Why 2 knocks? Why in March? Who is doing the knocking? Why only at night?
Any insights or feedback is appreciated.
In Christ,
Christian Robert
Thank you for sharing Ona Vargas. It seems that all these cases happen only to born again Christians, they somehow point to Jesus, and remarkably everyone immediately looks at the clock and nobody is afraid that this is a bad sign. These knocks keep happening. Here is another one that caught my attention:
"This morning (3/29), I heard 7 "soft" knocks, so, I raised up
to look at the digital clock and it was 3:29 (same as the date
although I didn't think of it until after I got up over an hour
later).
7 = Resurrection; Spiritual completeness; Father's perfection
3 = Divine completeness and perfection
29 = Departure"
