Had a short dream last night. I saw a big metal tub with children inside covered with leaves. They had their hands high in the air as if to say "Hey, we're here under the leaves." I looked to the right and saw another pile of leaves with children under but not in a tub. They had their hands in the air also. Then I woke up. It sort of reminded me of the pictures you see of people in Hellfire with their hands in the air, screaming to get out and demons around them. But in the dream, all I saw was the hands in the air, couldn't really see faces or anything but just knew they were children. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the other dream I had about being buried under train rubble but it's just the idea of being under something and not being able to get out. Any interpretation will be helpful. Thank you. I have always had very colorful and vivid dreams, starting when I was in high school. I am now in my 60s. But now all my dreams seem to be so dark and gloomy, greyish. I've had dreams about the rapture, of demons after me, flying, always flying and something trying to grab my feet, even of Jesus and Satan himself! All I had to do was call on Jesus and I was saved from the demons and then wasn't afraid. In one dream, I was surrounded by demonic beings, called on Jesus and turned into superwoman and took them all on. How cool is that. Back in high school days, I had sleep paralysis, very scary. There was always so much demonic activity around growing up. Around the same time, I had an out of body experience where I saw myself lying in bed and I could see my body covered in veins and muscle, like I was seeing right through my skin, very weird. But I also knew someone was with me protecting me from any harm and I wasn't afraid. I told my friend the next day on the way to school and she said I overcame death. Well, I don't know about that but something sure happened. I guess I can end this now so thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts. God bless.

Lena, I have been thinking and praying more about your dream and the possible meaning of the metal tub, and what came to mind was a submarine. For, a submarine is a big metal tub that people are inside of. But, here is the thing about this. "Marine" means " of, found in, or produced by the sea" (Google). It is of the water, produced by the water, which in the Bible water represents the Holy Spirit, eternal life with God, and it also represents the waters of baptism which symbolize us dying with Christ to sin, being buried with him in death to sin, and then being resurrected with him to eternal life.
Yet, "sub" also means "substitute," so this large metal tub these people are inside of while they are still covered with leaves, i.e. covering up their sins with lies, is a substitute for the water, a "sub" "marine." It is a substitute for the Holy Spirit and for death to sin and living to God and for true eternal life with God. And, another thing about this is that the people, while they are inside this huge metal tub, are protected from the water, for the metal tub (the submarine) keeps them from the water touching their lives.
So, what I believe God is showing you (in the west) are people who are still bound in their sins, covering their sins with lies, and their deeds making proclamation of the fact that they are still in bondage to sin, but who are being protected from themselves being immersed in the water by this "substitute" cheap grace gospel which makes no demands to death to sin or living to righteousness, but that "leaves" people still dead in their sins feeling as though they can make sin their practice and still have eternal life with God.
And, it isn't like that in the east (to the right) where they are not inside this metal tub. They are not trusting in a false grace gospel which "leaves" them still bound in their sin, and so there is no hindrance to them blocking them from true faith in Jesus Christ other than their own wills, if they should choose to refuse Jesus.
I hope this helps. It fits with my understanding of the rest of your dream, too. But, again, God has the final word on this, not me. God bless you! Sue
The first dream I had last night, which I have not shared on here yet, though I did share the second dream, had to do with fear. As I recall, I was in a house, and I think I was working on a kitchen (until 6 months ago when the Lord told me to stop through 3 dreams with Scriptureal confirmations, and on time with God answering my prayer to close down a job I was going to put all I had into, I was a carpenter working in home remodeling industry for 41 years...I just turned 60 a month ago). But I got a sense of something evil in the bathroom, so I walked down the hallway towards the bathroom, and the closer I got, the more fear began to paralize me. Just before I got to the bathroom door, I was so fearful of what I would see if I took another step, that I froze in my tracks. I then realized I was dreaming, and that my wife was laying next to me in reality, and I started trying to cry out to her in my dream saying, "Wake me up", but for numerous attempts, I knew my physical mouth in reality was not yet moving. I kept trying, and eventually, I did get those words out, which she did here as I was waking up. Fear is from satan, and we need to put fear and anxiety to death, and operate in "power, love, and sound mind".
Blessings in Messiah!
What came to mind after reading your dream and the other comments, is, "The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations". What brought this to mind was the tub, a tub is used to take a bath or a shower....i.e., cleansing from sin. Hands in the air could simply be these children praising the Lord. For me, big piles of leaves like this bring to mind fun times playing with my grandfather and brother. We did actually work to rake the leaves into piles, but sometimes, before we put them in the incinerator on his 3/4 acre property in Connecticut, we would jump into the piles and have fun playing in them. As in your dream about the train, since God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind, I do not believe you have anything to be concerned about. Also, perhaps your fear tendancy to fear being burried, stems from something negative that happened to you as a child, and whatever that is, it is something that the Lord wants you to overcome and move on from, forgiving anyone who might have been involved in whatever brought that fear into your life. In other words, I feel God is telling you to lighten up a little bit, be like a little child, and have some fun (though keep it godly of course) O:-)
Lena, I just turned 69 and I will be 70 the end of this year. I have a lot of dark dreams, too, but they are the Lord showing me the times we live in.
I would recommend you look at your dream in relation to where you are reading in scripture for your quiet time with God, and ask him to speak to you and to show you through his word what your dream means. My dreams always go with where I am reading in scripture.
Also, I would suggest you write down the key words in your dream which I saw as pile (same word in my dream today), leaves, tub, children, covered, hands, high, air, and then look up those words in a dictionary and thesaurus to see what many ways those words can be used. Sometimes words have double meanings and sometimes dreams make use of plays on words. And then ask the Holy Spirit to show you how those words are being used in your dream.
Covered in leaves reminds me of Adam and Eve covering themselves with leaves when they sinned against God and they discovered they were naked. Covering can be for concealment, lies to hide the truth. A pile of leaves reminds me of Rev 18 where it talks about Babylon and her sins being piled high to heaven, which would indicate this was a pile of lies to cover up sin. Hands often have to do with deeds and air with proclamation, ie their deeds proclaiming their sins which are piled high to heaven. Children can be offspring or God's people, his church.
The ones in the tub may be in America. The other ones may be in the east. Both are proclaiming their sins by their deeds, but there is a distinction between the two, and it is the tub. So, maybe in the west their deeds are giving proclamation of their sins but there is no repentance, and maybe in the east there is repentance. What the tub signifies should help explain the distinction.
I hope this helps. Sue
