1-6-2018 I dreamed I was getting gas in a place where I used to live, Enterprise, Ontario, but it had changed – it was more developed. It was after sundown and an old schoolmate who I haven't seen for 40 years came up to me and started to talk while I filled my car. When I knew him at school he was friendly and likable but socially awkward. He was also handicapped. He limped, had little use of one of his arms and had a speech impediment. At school I was always friendly with him but for some reason in my dream I wasn't as friendly as I should have been. I didn't pay much attention to what he was saying and I said good bye soon after we began to talk. As I drove away I felt bad about my coolness towards him because it seemed he might have been warning me of something coming.
Next I dreamed it was still late evening and quite dark. I was walking north in a rural area just outside of the same town. It was mostly farm land with homes scattered here and there. I looked up and in the distance saw what looked like a volcano erupting. Since there were no volcanoes in the area I was puzzled.
As I was thinking about this I heard a noise like objects whizzing down from the sky and then I saw meteors falling. At first I thought I was going to see a nice meteor display but they began falling close by and so I knew I was in danger. At this time I made the connection in my mind between the falling stars and the volcano – both were God's doing. I wasn't especially afraid because I trusted that God would protect me but at the same time I turned around and started running for my home for cover in the town. I ran as fast as I could not out of fear but because that's what I thought the Lord would want me to do.
I ran so fast it seemed like I was flying just above the ground so I thought no one could run nearly as fast as I was going but just as I was coming into town where the sidewalk starts by a cement retaining wall, an older man overtook me. He was also scrambling for cover. I thought he was going to pass me but he came up beside me and was too exhausted to pass me so we went on together, both of us running hard. At that point I was close to home but I realized that my house would actually not be much protection from the fall out so that inside or out, I'd still have to trust the Lord.
I woke up here and then I went back to sleep and then heard a word: “This feast will come in festive wrapping.” End of Dreams.
Here's my interpretation. See what you think: The town, Enterprise, which was more developed commercially than when I lived there represents the business economy. It is going to suffer damage from the disasters. Meeting up with my old socially backward school friend who had a warning that I ignored represents the treatment of modern prophets who are not accepted by other Christians but have an important warning and are giving it with a heart of gold. My school mate in real life was a gentle caring person. The second man who caught up to me in real life was a nervous, fearful, obsessive person and borderline insane. He represents those who aren't prepared for the judgments that are ahead who'll be anxious to the point of madness.
The volcano represents one or more eruptions that will have a global impact. It was far off in the distance but so massive I could see it from miles away. My making the connection between the volcano and the meteors after they began to fall represents the connection people will make. Most won't see God's hand in the eruption(s). They come first but when the meteors and asteroids fall shortly afterward then many will recognize the hand of God in both.
The statement “This feast will come in festive wrapping” is saying look for these events during a biblical feast. I've given this some study and without going into detail the best match I've found is First Fruits during Passover. Whether this year or in the future is hard to say but I've marked my calendar for this year's Feast of First Fruits - Nissan 16th – May 1 at evening, May Day.
This date is a month later than the modern rabbis say but scripture indicates that the New Year starts at the first new moon after the equinox rather than the first full moon after the equinox as taught by the rabbis. May Day is like 9/11. According to Wikipedia, “Mayday Mayday is an emergency procedure word used internationally as a distress signal in voice-procedure radio communications. It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency primarily by aviators and mariners, but in some countries local organizations such as firefighters, police forces, and transportation organizations.” This dream is linking the first four trumpets of Revelation 8 with the Feast of Firstfruits and if that's so, then it's one of the most significant that I've had.
Actually, in 'Israeli Judaism', the 'Festival of First Fruits' is also known as the 'Feast of Weeks' or Shavuot or more well-known to the west, 'Pentecost' (50th Day). This year, Shavuot starts on May 28th (Thursday at Sundown) and ends on Saturday (May 30th) at Sundown.
As with ALL 'Biblical Prophecy', one should reference 'ancient Judaism' Holidays for accurate translations. Shavuot is the time the wheat harvest is taken, where Sukkot is where the Fruit Harvest is taken (however, in the Jewish faith, the 'Feast of First fruits' is Shavuot...so to say 'Feast of First Fruits is to say 'wheat harvest' not 'fruit harvest'...(sorry, just stating what I know...not trying to justify why it is as it is).
If you heard or saw 'Shavuot' or 'Feast of First Fruits', you were being told to reference Pentecost...regardless the year, you will be correct on-date.
FYI...Mayday is a public holiday usually celebrated on May 1. ... In the late 19th century, May Day was chosen as the date for International Workers' Day by the Socialists and Communists of the Second International to commemorate the Haymarket affair in Chicago. The Celts believed May 1 to be Beltane, the most 'important day of the year'.
Mayday (the distress call) is in no way associated to any of this. It got its start as an international distress call in 1923. It was made official in 1948. It was the idea of Frederick Mockford, who was a senior radio officer at Croydon Airport in London. He came up with the idea for “mayday" because it sounded like the French word m'aider, which means “help me."
thank you all for an amazing topic/discussion. i am a midget among giants.
The guy you ignored clearly means ignoring Christians with an important message that sounds obscured. Many overlook these set of Christians today, bit the message they have is the real message. The three angels message of Rev 14 is ignored and mocked today. And the message of grace and prosperity is booming and spreading like wildfire. No body wants to hear the truth because it's bitter and sound funny.
Thanks for your input manfrommodesto. Whether this spring or not, the signs are everywhere that we're close to the end and the blessed hope. Mark
Okay, so now i’ve Read your interpretation. I want to say something I remembered within the last few days... when no year is given, we don’t know the year. We can know the season, though... and firstfruits is a covenant day which is not assigned a specific date, it changes each year.
I once received promise of a new job “in August”... when it was late July or early August... and that promise was fulfilled the following year, in August.
Vincent Xavier received a warning about a disaster on October 10th.... and then he started telling people “October 10th” but added, “2009”, the year he received the warning. Still has not happened. Other warnings he gave came to pass, though.
So, brother, we shall see. I receive your warning. But, we don’t know the year because none was given. Peace.
I came her to say, the “feast” is most likely first fruits. The other two feast days don’t match the situation as well.
2. The old friend you ignored... my be a stand-in symbolizing some other person you think of in the same way you considered the old handicapped schoolmate.
3. Volcano surprise... reminded me of a word I read somewhere years ago... someone said the Holy Spirit told him something like, “I don’t need fault lines to cause an earthquake.” Nor does Almighty God need an existing volcano to send an eruption to the surface!
4. I have seen meteors many times in my dreams. It is correlated with the sky rolling up in Revelation (from some of the first dreams I had... when I was 9.)
5. The late hour of the day... this symbolizes the lateness of the hour on the spiritual timeline. As we approach late day, the works of the enemy will increase... analogous to the rate shadows grow long at increasing rates as the sun lowers in the sky.
Elizabeth Marie, beloved in Christ and brethren:
This is what our LORD says regarding the Feast of First fruits Biblical feast in His Word:
The Feast of First-fruits in this dream answers to our heavenly Father's end time Two Witnesses of Revelation 14: 1-4 ... v4 "These are the ones that were not defiled with women (idolatry), for they are (spiritual virgins in Christ). "These are the one who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men being FIRST-FRUITS to God and to the Lamb: Also Revelation 11:3-6 , Zechariah. 4:2-3, Zech. 4:11,
Zech. 9:9 says: "The Coming King "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion" Shout O daughter of Jerusalem, Behold your King is coming to you"...Zech. 12:8 "In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of (spiritual) Jerusalem"... God's two lamp stand(s) anointed ones (end times ministers bride of Christ) Zech 8:9 says"Let your hands be strong, you who have been hearing in these last days, these words by the mouth of the prophets who spoke in the day the foundation was laid for the house of the Lord of hosts (heaven's armies) that the temple might be built". v 12 "For the seed shall be prosperous , the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase and the heavens shall give their dew- to possess all these. .. O house of Judah and house of Israel... v13 "so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do NOT fear, let your hands be strong".
Blessings, FS Greenhalgh (Ferly - aka, "Atarah" :-)
Mark, I think it might be a 'bit over my head!' lol I will continue to 'chew' on it for further revelation! Peace, my dear brother!!
You're welcome! Re: Firstfruits being linked to the seven trumpets, my thinking here is that when Joshua besieged Jericho, Israel marched around it for seven days blowing seven trumpets, prophetic of the seven trumpets of Revelation. They did this in the spring shortly after eating the Passover. It doesn't say which day they began the siege but does indicate that it was soon after the 14th so the 16th is possible.
Another link between the two is that Firstfruits apparently is prophetic and marks the start of the great gospel harvest. In the ceremonial law none of the crops of the year can be harvested or eaten until the wavesheaf of the Firstfruits is waved before the Lord. It is the green light for harvest to begin:
Lev 23:9 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Lev 23:10 "Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest,
Lev 23:11 and he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Lev 23:12 And on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the LORD.
Lev 23:13 And the grain offering with it shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering to the LORD with a pleasing aroma, and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, a fourth of a hin.
Lev 23:14 And you shall eat neither bread nor grain parched or fresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Since the seven trumpets of Revelation are prefaced with the Firstfruits offering in chapters 7 and the first part of 14 and are also prefaced with an outpouring of the Spirit that launches the gospel harvest in the first part of chapter 8, it seems to me that there is a link between the two. See what you think Sister Elizabeth. When you have the time, I'd be glad to hear your thoughts (and anyone else's). M.
wow! Your interpretations are amazing! You are right about hardly anyone paying attention! The word you got about the feast days is really interesting-- I'm not understanding the reason why it is the Feast of the Firstfruits, though. Thanks again for sharing your dream here!!! Blessings, dear brother!
