Recently, I have recurring/theme dream of missing my shoes. I’m not overly concerned that they are missing however I am aware that I don’t have them. It’s like I left them somewhere. I also had a dream once years back of not having on the ‘proper’ shoes for the occasion. Thanks for your help!

In real life, shoes protect our feet, enable us to walk farther, speeding how we carry out plans, excursions.
In Ephesians, we prepare our feet by "binding under one’s feet," (sandals) preparedness, speeding the glad tidings of peace.
Whether your dream was about the gospel or not, it seemed to be showing you felt unprotected, unprepared to carry out your good intents.
An example might be, you got approval to start a food cupboard at your church, but they didn't give you a space to put shelves.
Or if responsible for your own footwear, being asked to teach adult Sunday school class, but not having time to do the research and prep.
Not having the proper shoes might be a fear of doing things out of protocol -- wanting to be effective but not aligning with others' way of doing things.
