Hey all, It's not really a dream, but it was something that God revealed to me. We just moved our first year hens out to the coop. I adored them, and we were just getting started with them. I went to let them out yesterday morning and to my dismay, when I opened the coop, one of the openings had been accessed by a Raccoon, and all my precious chickies were ripped apart. This was my fault. I had left a small opening in one of the doors where I knew it was there, but thought it was secured "good enough". I also left the attachable ladder up. As I was doing dishes last night, it hit me. This was a lesson, or God was using it as one at least. The enemy works in this way. The small opening represents the small openings we all have in our life for sin. If we don't secure our hearts fully, then enemy can get his claws in the littlest of gaps and turn it into complete devastation on our walk. Leaving the ladder up invited the enemy right to the opening. I know this was a personal lesson due to some things I've been dealing with, but I think it was worth sharing. I hope everyone is well in these uncertain times. <3

So sorry about your chickens😥 A good lesson, about the enemy!!
I'm more of a plant person, a gardener. I have to weed my herbal beds every morning or the weeds become overgrown. I've learned that weeds will dominate in one day. My lesson is daily oversight of my sins, temptations. Your dream reminds me again of things causing destruction in one day due to negligence, apathy, or indifference. Keep the faith, I'm glad we have this group for encouragement. Thanks for sharing!
