I was awoken the other night hearing the word "plumb line", nothing else. After hearing this I prayed that I would not forget this word before i got up so I could look into what God was trying to tell me. I researched and prayed much of yesterday to make sure if this was something for me, family or others. The verses I came away in doing this were Amos 7:7-8, Heb 4:12-13 & 2 Cron. 16:9. After reading Amos especially felt it was a reminder to His children to keep looking at His word, his Son to make sure we can stand tall before him as we render an account of our life (Heb. 4:13). No other standard of measurement especially our own thinking of what is right will stand, or can be used to determine if we are upright (straight) before Him, only His Word, Yeshua (Jesus) as our lead (shepherd) can show us this. We must line up all that we do according to God's "plumb line". I know it is His love for us that corrections, reminders come, to keep us on His path to life, not death!
