This is a long one!

Last night I had a dream that I was on my porch and there was a gardening pot of spinach. Upon first glance, the spinach was withering and dying. I looked again, and the spinach had turned to a flourishing pot of baby spinach sprouts. Upon looking for the last time, the pot was empty, and I began running the soil through my fingers.

This dream perplexed me, I can't lie. My first interpretation was scarcity of food coming to the land, as I have had many dreams about food crops dying and being barren. However, the fact that this spinach was regrowing and then completely gone had me confused. God sent me on quite the journey through scripture this morning, revealing to me what this dream meant. Of course any outside interpretation is welcome, too...

Stick with me, I promise this is going somewhere!...

I was first led to Zechariah 14, which is about the day of God. This told me that this is something the whole world will experience, but following this, I was led to 1 Kings 19:18 And I shall leave seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Ba'al, and every mouth that has not kissed him. I believe I was being shown why America itself will be facing such judgement. We, as a nation, have forsaken God in many ways, but one of the major ways is through our worship of Ba'al. God's true people will not and have not participated in this type of worship. The ones being left in this scripture represent his people who will be protected during this judgement. There isn't enough time in the day to explain all the ways this nation's leaders and shadow government has worshiped Ba'al, Moloch, and other Pagan idols. However, we have supported and promoted the murder and bloodshed of children through abortions. This is a form of child sacrifice, which was one of the main ways that the Canaanites (and later Israel 1 Kings 16:31-33 brought in by Jezebel) worshiped Ba'al. New York City actually erected a replica Temple of Ba'al in 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4t7QD-CKUPw. Not to mention, there is a golden calf statue on Wall Street (where the love of money is idolized). Finally I was led to what helped me interpret this dream.....Isaiah 23-27 (I will highlight the main points) Isaiah 23:3 On the great waters came the grain of the Shihor; the harvest of the Nile was the revenue of Tyre, and she became the marketplace of the nations. and Isaiah 23:8 Who planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are renowned in the earth? 9 The Lord Almighty planned it, to bring down her pride in all her splendor and to humble all who are renowned on the earth. We are a MARKETPLACE OF THE NATIONS. Not only in selling global trade, but buying as well. When America crashes, it will be god's way of bringing down our pride. This nation immerses itself in pride. Continuing on to Isaiah 24:4 The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the heavens languish with the earth. 5 The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left. This explains the spinach in my dream. The spinach represents the people in the world (possibly even the church). The first stage of the spinach in my dream, it was WITHERING and DYING. This is the current stage of the world as we know it. Isaiah 27:5 Or else let them come to me for refuge; let them make peace with me, yes, let them make peace with me.” 6 In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit. This deals with the body of christ in the next stage, represented by my next view of the spinach. Just like god left a remnant who had not worshiped Ba'al in 1 Kings 19:18, there will be a remnant in this world who have not partaken in the abominations god is soon punishing us for. The growing sprouting Spinach represents days to come when we will take root and bud and blossom through the Holy Spirit and fill the world with fruit in the end times. Finally, Isaiah 27:9 By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like limestone crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing. 10 The fortified city stands desolate, an abandoned settlement, forsaken like the wilderness; there the calves graze, there they lie down; they strip its branches bare. God will use these end times and the suffering endured to bring people to him and wake his people up. Through the hard times, guilt and sin will be atoned for. The bare soil in the last stage of my dream represents the new beginning we will experience in the millennium. A new start, or fresh soil to sow in, if you will. I also thought it may represent the second chance, or last chance, many will get to root themselves in a new soil during the end days. Change their ways from being rooted in the world, and root themselves in God instead.

Hopefully I didn't lose you! This was quite the journey and took a few hours of studing this morning to really understand what I was being told.
