Years ago, my late wife and I were a few weeks from moving from Virginia to Tennessee, and we had gone out to dinner with one of my coworkers, his wife, and their young daughter. A huge thunderstorm rolled in, and our food order was messed up, so we were in the restuarant longer then expected. But when the rain finally stopped, it was about 10 minutes after sunset, it was getting dark, storm clouds were still in the air, and the wife of my coworker took her daughter outside to get some air, and the ran back in all excited to show us something...so we all ran out, and much to our suprise, in the southern sky (the direction BJ and I were moving towards at the time), there was a rainbow!!! Again..no sun to have created it, and it was in the south...so the wrong direction even if the sun were still up, which is twas not. God spoke to me in this and said, "No matter how dark it gets, my promisses are still true!"
My now late wife BJ and I did face many storms as we entered our life in Tennessee back in April of 2005 (nearly 14 years ago), including , but not limited to her diagnosis at 2am Thanksgiving morning of 2006 with liver failure. She was given 5 years to live, but only lasted 4, leaving her temporary tabernacle here on earth and entering into her permanant home on a very interesting day on the Hebrew calendar known as "Shmini Atzeret". That day is the day following the 7 day feast of Tabernacles, when observant Jews and Gentiles who have the heart to observe, leave their 7 days dwelling in temporary shelters to enter their permanant homes! Her heart stopped beating at 7am that morning, and 14 years mentioned above is 2x7, and God has been speaking a great deal of 7's to me in other ways in recent weeks, so but tribulation and rest seem to be at hand for the season ahead.
My brothers and sisters, it appears that we are about to enter a season of great darkness in our Country and in our world, but I was led to share the above testimony with you because of a picture a new pastor friend of mine shared on his wall today. I have included that picture below. Be richly blessed as you seek Him with all your hearts during this next prophetic season!!!
