I have seen a few posts recently on various sites referring to the Mark of the Beast, I have also been reflecting on Revelation 17. Verses 11-13 struck me.

"The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast."

Those Kings' without a Kingdom, I think are referring to big tech and the "8th ____" being cyberspace. The power that media hold over us in service of the "deep state", is quite potent.

Other things that lead me to suggest this may be the case from revelation 17 is abortion - the prostitute on the beast. The abomination of her fornication. Fornication is basically adultery, having it off with somebody outside of wedlock. Usually a betrayal of the sacred wedding vows. While it is sinful, I would not call it an abomination. Any "love children" may still be birthed, loved and cared for. Repentence from the sin of adultery may also take place. For me, the abomination is abortion. Sacrificing innocent unborn children for the iniquity of irresponsibility of adults who should know, or should have been taught, better. Jesus has already paid the price for that sin, adultery, on the cross. Notice how the mainstream media says it is a "woman's right" to kill her unborn child. They defame anyone who disagrees. If men disagree they are defamed as "the patriarchy" or "mysoginistic toxic masculinity". I suspect women who disagree are "socially excluded".
