Exodus 7:18 - “The fish that are in the Nile will die, and the Nile will become FOUL, and the Egyptians will find difficulty in drinking WATER from the Nile.”
What is this all about? Well, yesterday, we felt prompted to travel north to Conroe, Texas from Houston, in search of a possible temporary home Carrie had seen in a vision a few days ago, but time and time again, it seemed like everything we did just fell apart. So this morning, we opted to take a drive to Lake Conroe to pray and seek the Lord about our next step. We picked up some breakfast at Jack In The Box, and went down to a waterside table to find some peace and quiet.
After a few minutes, two rather homely looking ducks came up from the Lake to our table looking for hand outs. The waited very patiently until I had gotten down to the last little bit of my hash browns, so I gave them each a small piece, and we started praying. After some time with seemingly no answer from the Lord, I began wondering since the two ducks were still hanging around, if perhaps the Lord had something to say to us through them. After pondering this idea for a few minutes, I decided to do a word search to see if perhaps the word duck was ever used in the Bible. That search turned up empty, so the thought occurred to search for the words, "water foul" instead, and though those words did appear, they were not in the same order, nor did they have the same meaning, but it was in the above verse that they appeared. I initially wrote this off as another dead end, and continued to pray, feeling a bit frustrated. After a few more minutes however, I noticed something floating on the water about 100 feet away, and when I went to investigate, I found this large, and rather foul smelling dead fish with flies all over it!
So I went back and looked at the verse and it's context again, and felt impressed that since the reference related to the first plague of ten that eventually led to Pharaoh letting the children of Israel leave Egypt, I took this as yet another indication in a growing list of things, that confirms that our home is not here in Houston, and one way or another, Texas is going to let us go, and when we go, perhaps like the Exodus from Egypt, we will come away with great abundance having been given to us. So Texas, we agree with the word of the Lord, and we command you to Let the Fischer family go, and anyone else whom the Lord is calling to go out from here during this season as well, whoever they are, in Yeshua's (Jesus') name and for Your Glory Father, Amen and Amen!!!
