I grew up in the South Bay near Torrance California. Some time ago, I had a dream I was overlooking the city by the ocean. Everywhere I looked, I saw everything on fire! Every structure, small and large was burning! I was amazed…I was now at ground level. I asked, “what is causing all the fires?” Just then, my eyesight zoomed up telescopically to a pipe header quite a distance away. It was a small diameter pipe. One end was attached to a building, the other end turned 90 degrees into the ground. I knew the answer to my question lie there at the piping. I noticed gas leaking out of the pipe near the building. I then began to float across the coast northbound for many miles…everywhere I looked, it was the same! Everything was on fire! My path took me to a hospital not far from the coast as the ground started to rise. I saw inside. The hospital was incredibly busy…

After waking up, I realized that the leak most likely came from a natural gas line. I worked for a refinery and knew that there are natural gas (NG) and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) lines everywhere underground. There is an incredibly very large underground web of gas lines everywhere. The larger supply lines have over 200 pounds of pressure (PSI) and branch out to just about every structure in the cities. Refineries pipe jet fuel directly to major airports as well.

What if something like a major earthquake cracked those lines all at once? There would be so much fuel gas in the air, that all ignition sources would be quickly found by the gasses. I don’t know if retrofitted earthquake shut-off valves would help much. At least in this very vivid dream, it didn’t seem to.

I don’t believe there was much, if any, symbology in this dream. It looked very real...
