I was on a school bus with another female. We were being driven by a guy I did not know. We got to the top of a hill and he needed to pee so he stopped the bus got out and walked away to go pee. The bus then started rolling down the otherside of the hill and I jumped behind the wheel to stop it. I pushed on the brake and it wasn't stopping it. I see vehicles quickly approaching in the distance so I know I need to stop it immediately. I pushed the brake harder with all my strength and it finally slowly stopped. We get off the bus.
I woke up at 6:29 am
I'm so so sorry and my beloved dear Tennessee! I was living over there 6 years ohhhh So quiet and peaceful I'm ao sorry
Aack!
Public transportation piles people together on a planned route, without many choices except final destination. School buses leave riders feeling even less in control, because students are expected to behave, walk in file, get to class on time.
But the person in control gave up his post (relieving himself of toxins he'd built up), and you were left scrambling. It reminds me of scandals where churches are left not just rehiring leaders, but fending off reporters and false rumors, dealing with lawyers. (Imagine members of RvZch' ministry.) Or simpler changes, where pastors move on.
At the end, you were able to stop the runaway bus, which is encouraging! Maybe God is showing you ahead of time, that something will work out in the end, especially if you get involved to help keep others safe.
School buses are designed to be safe, and parents trust them to carry their children safely -- similar to a church or ministry, or workplace. Pray over this, asking God to show you hints of what's going on. Be ready to have mature, thoughtful conversations that help others stay on track with God.
