This morning, I asked the Lord first thing, "What is on your heart for today", and as I waited on Him, I received 3 visions of disaster and destruction. One was a vision from a distance across a river of a big city skyline...I think it was New York...but I am not 100% positive. I then saw this massive shockwave level all the buildings. I did not see a mushroom cloud, so I do not think it was nuclear in nature..but two seconds after I saw this, I literally heard an audible rumble as if the shockwave had reached my ears. It may have been a plane going over head, or a truck on the highway...but the timing of it was just perfect to go along with what I had just seen. Next, I saw a vision of unusually shaped pieces of white paper with red stripes on them, and as odd as this sounds it was like they were pieces of lava falling from heaven. The last vision was of one man holding another man under water, and it appeared as though he was trying to drown him. After doing some research, the Lord led me to Isaiah 30:33, which in the New Living Translation reads, "Topheth—the place of burning— has long been ready for the Assyrian king; the pyre is piled high with wood. The breath of the LORD, like fire from a volcano, will set it ablaze." Topheth is just south of Jerusalem in the valley of Hinnom...and I also think it is called Gehenna if I am not mistaken. It used to be a place where ancient Israel, while they were following after other Gods, used to sacrifice their living children in the burning red hot arms of Baal and Molech, so I believe this word is related to a judgment regarding the sins of abortion and such.
