A decade ago, I had a series of flood visions where God would map out which places would be too muddy to transverse. The flood came suddenly overnight (like an asteroid, n. attack, power plant explosion)
For years I've tried to find property in highlands, and ways to avoid a future flood.
Nearly every village was built by a water source, so it was harder to find small properties in highlands.
Recently God led me to store materials near water that would surely flood, and I wondered how that fit into the plan.
I realized it was not about saving my own life, preparing a safe spot for family (who probably wouldn't evacuate there)... but being there to help others losing theirs.
It brought together multiple things I'd had in my heart to do.
Matthew 10:39, 16:25
He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.
When we follow God's lead and parts seem illogical, there may be...
* Connections we need to make
* Changes in how people percieve you, which may open up new doors
* People who need the specifics we can offer
* Shaking up our perceptions and ruts
* Differences in exercise - fresh air - sunshine - rest that we needed.
* Training from the surroundings -- what we take in.
What we imagine needs to be accomplished may not happen, while other actions do.
