Philippians 2:14-16 ESV
"Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain."
An Allegory
The Lord Jesus gave me a dream yesterday, like a parable (or an allegory), to help me get the message from this passage of scripture that he wanted me to have today, so I am going to share that dream with you, and what I believe the Lord is saying through it in relation to this scripture. I pray that the Lord Jesus will lead me to what he would have me share with you.
Yet, I will note here that my dreams typically are allegorical in nature and that the people in the dreams are like actors in a play, not necessarily representing their true selves, but that they are used symbolically to represent something or someone else.
Who or what they represent may have to do with the meaning of their names and/or the relationships they have in real life to one another. Who or what they represent is usually determined by the scripture, too, for that day, but could also be determined by other input such as news stories, or by the song, for there is most always a song to go with these messages.
I will try to not use real names if I don’t have to, but I may have to in order to show the relationship between the name and who or what I believe this person symbolizes.
Also, the Lord does have me use a dictionary and a thesaurus to help me to understand the symbols in the dreams he gives me. And then he uses the context of the dream as a whole, and the scripture, and other input to lead me to the specific words or phrases he is pointing to.
The Dream: We were with Dale and Jane somewhere. A small child under their care went missing when she was climbing some stairs. I think her name was Stacy. So, I went searching for the child, but I could not find her.
Then, there was something in the dream about me putting something inside a lunch bag, and that something was in my brain, and now it isn’t there for some reason. END
The Interpretation
We (the church, maybe just in the USA) were with (in the midst of) Dale (valley - a moral and spiritual decline, descent, deterioration) and Jane (“YAHWEH is gracious,” - God’s grace or false grace) somewhere (unknown).
Since these two are married to each other in real life, then I would say that this is false grace, not true grace, for a marriage is a union, a partnership (agreement, alliance) between two people, but not that all married people agree on everything. But, we are speaking symbolically here, yet I do also see the role that God’s true grace plays in this.
Basically, I believe the Lord is saying that there is a union, an alliance or a connection between this false grace gospel of men and this spiritual and moral decline in our nation (and perhaps in other nations). For, the false (cheap) grace gospel demands no repentance and no obedience to Christ.
The small (little in size, few in number) child (children of God) named Stacy (meaning “resurrection” and “upstanding”), i.e. having to do with those who are blameless and innocent, without blemish - who are dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus, our Lord - was under the guardianship of Dale and Jane. And, this reminded me of the scripture that talks about how God’s people were under the guardianship of the law to lead us to Christ until Christ came. So, Dale and Jane also represent the law, which I believe is the law of the land, i.e. the government, for he sometimes represents Trump.
God has placed us as humans, and us as Christians who live on this earth, under the guardianship of our governments which we are to submit to unless they ask or demand that we do something contrary to God’s Word, i.e. unless they demand that we deny our Lord and that we disobey him and his teachings, and unless they demand that we bow down and worship them. And this is coming. For, we are not to give our worship (full allegiance) to anyone but Almighty God, maker of heaven and earth.
So, the Lord is also saying that our government is crooked and twisted, since we were in the midst of them, and in the scripture we are in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation. Plus, the Lord has been showing me these past 14 years just how crooked our government is, as they serve the beastly one-world government of the elite of the world, which is the de facto government of the USA and now of the whole world, in reality. And, this beast our government serves then serves Satan (See: Revelation 13).
Watch and Care
As a guardian, the law is supposed to be protecting and upholding what is upright, honorable, honest, decent, trustworthy, and moral, but the law didn’t seem to be doing the job. For the child, representing all that, is missing (absent) under their watch and care.
And, yet, just as the law was put in place to lead us to Christ, I believe that God, by his grace, is using all this wickedness in our nation(s) and in our government(s) to lead his wayward people back to Christ, and he is using all this, too, to lead many people in search of God, and of truth, and of righteousness.
This small child named Stacy (see above) was climbing up some stairs, too, i.e. revival of the church is on the move, but it is coming in stages, and many of us who are in America are not yet experiencing or seeing this take place.
What we are seeing still is that what is upright, honorable, honest, decent, trustworthy, and moral is missing (absent), for the most part. But, I believe this is a promise that revival is headed to the USA, too, but that it will come through a time of great difficulty in our nation because of the corruption in our government and in much of the church, too.
Then, there was something (amazing, great) about me (the church) putting (situating) something (the “somewhat” – in this case having to do with the half-truth false grace gospel) inside this bag (sack – to get rid of). And, the sack was a “lunch” sack and “lunch” has to do with a light meal, which then is symbolic of the false grace half-truth (somewhat) gospel.
So, this is about the church, via revival, I believe, putting to death the flesh-driven gospel which gives free rein to immorality, impurity and the like. And, that is awesome! For, now the church will be revived and they will follow the truth of the gospel, which is based in holiness and righteousness, rather than give credence any longer to the flesh-driven gospel.
When Awakened
But, when I woke up from my dream, I could not remember what I was supposed to put in this sack, for even though it had been in my brain, now it was gone for some reason.
I believe this has to do with being spiritually awakened, and now the church, when awakened, will no longer have her mind set on the false (cheap) grace gospel which demands no repentance or obedience to Christ. For, that will now be gone from her way of thinking, for some “reason,” i.e. because of judgment, and because of wisdom learned through judgment.
Thus, now the revived church will shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life. Now the church, which has sought after righteousness, purity, morality, honesty and faithfulness, etc., will spread that to the rest of the world. Instead of having minds set on living immoral lives, they will be convinced of God’s holiness and righteousness and of his requirements that we live holy lives pleasing to him, too.
So, instead of believing what is false, especially in order to remove the guilt from their own fleshly lifestyles and sinful addictions, they will be telling the world how Jesus died on that cross that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; that we might be delivered from our slavery to sin so that we no longer walk in darkness (sin); so we no longer live to gratify the sinful cravings of our flesh, but so we now live to please God.
For, if we live to sin, we will die in our sins, not have eternal life with God, no matter if we claim faith in Christ or not. But, if we walk according to the Spirit, and daily we are putting sin to death, and we are taking up our cross and we are following (obeying) Jesus, then we have eternal life with God.
[See: Lu. 9:23-25; Jn. 6:35-66; Jn. 10:27-30; Ac. 26:16-18; Rom. 6:1-23; Rom. 8:1-17; 2 Co. 5:15, 21; Gal. 5:19-21; Gal. 6:7-8; Eph. 4:17-24; Tit. 2:11-14; 1 Pet. 1:13-16; 1 Pet. 2:9-10; 1 Pet. 2:24-25; & 1 Jn. 1:5-9.]
And, the Lord, too, I believe is making a connection here between two things: This revival of the church, resulting in the church then shining as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, will result in many more people coming to faith in Jesus Christ before the return of our Lord. And, I believe this is symbolized by the sealing of the 144,000 in Revelation 14.
Broken and Contrite
An Original Work / May 13, 2012
I come before You, Lord, my Savior,
With humble heart and crushed in spirit.
I bow before You, I implore You,
Heal my broken heart, I pray.
Love You, Jesus, Lord, my master,
You are the King of my heart.
Lord, purify my heart within me;
Sanctify me, whole within.
Oh, Lord, I long to obey fully
The words You’ve spoken through Your Spirit.
I pray You give me grace and mercy,
Strength and wisdom to obey.
Father God, my heart’s desire,
Won’t You set my heart on fire?
Lord, cleanse my heart of all that hinders
My walk with You, now I pray.
Oh, Jesus, Savior, full of mercy,
My heart cries out for understanding.
I want to follow You in all ways,
Never straying from Your truth.
Holy Spirit, come in power,
Fill me with Your love today.
Lord, mold and make me;
Your hands formed me;
Live Your life through me, I pray.

Thanks for sharing! Two things stand out to me here. Yes, false grace, or as some call it, "Hyper Grace", is rampant in the Church today, and sadly, though it is true that the law is a schoolmaster to lead us to Messiah, what many fail to remember, is that after we finish school, do the numerous laws of math, science and such all of a sudden cease to be true and applicable to our lives? Does 2+2 now equal 47 instead of 4? Does every action now all of a sudden because of Messiah Yeshua's sacrifice no longer have an equal and opposite reaction? Should we continue to sin (transgress the law...1 John 3:4) because we are now not under law but under grace? God Forbid!!! (Romans 6). Are we now free to covet our neighbors spouses because we are not under the law, "thou shalt not covet" anymore? Are we now free to steal, or bear false witness, or engage in idolatry, or lying, or anything else God has forbidden in His word? Doesn't the Bible tells us that Jesus will, "Magnify the Law and make it honorable"? (Isaiah 42:21) Do not the Prophet Jeremiah in chapter 31 verse 31 (the prophecy concerning the coming of the New Covenant), and Paul the Apostles in Romans 2:14-15 agree that the law is to be written on our hearts? Does not Jesus say in Matthew 5 that even if Heaven and earth pass away (which it has not yet done), not one jot or tittle will will pass from the law, and that anyone who breaks the least of God's commandments and teaches others to do so, will be called least (though still in...so I am not speaking about being saved by perfectly keeping the law) in the Kingdom of Heaven? Does not Hebrews 6, in describing the 6 basic principles of our faith, list, "Repentance from dead works", as the first of those 6 principles? Do not Jesus and the Apostles time and time again say, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand"? Does not the book of Revelation start out with a call to the 7 Churches to REPENT of various sins? Does not even Acts 15 declare four, "Necessary things" that new Gentile believers must follow in order to be considered in the Kingdom of God? Does not Paul, in Galatians 5, again speaking to mostly Gentile believers, declare 17, "works of the flesh", all of which break at least one if not more of the commandments contained in God's law, state that if we continue to do such things, that we will, "NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD" ? It is really horribly sad, that we take a few New Testament verses out of the context of the verses above and others I have not shared, and make Jesus' sacrifice into a license to sin and not be accountable to anyone for doing so, when we are actually called in numerous places (such as Matthew 18 and other places) to go to our brothers and sisters and humbly encourage them back into righteous living if we see them overtaken in a fault, and to even get others involved in that process if they do not listen to our private encouragements to do so? Does not Paul state to the Gentile Romans in chapter 7 verse 12, "Wherefore the LAW is HOLY, and the COMMANDMENT HOLY, and JUST, and GOOD"? Our Messiah came to set us free from sin, not to encourage us to continue to live in sin. The second thought that came to mind, is regarding that sack lunch in your dream. Something I remember, is that there was a little boy who seemed to be the only one who had brought any food for himself in following Jesus out into the wilderness for 3 days, and Jesus took that small little lunch, and muliplied it to feed thousands of people, and the Disciples ended up gathering more leftovers from that feast than they had started with!!! Lord, mulitply Your Word today across Your body and across our Nation and our world, feed those that are hungry for You, even if they do not yet realize that hunger!!! Thanks again for sharing sister!!!
