'WHITE BALLS SLAMMING TO EARTH'

I was standing outside on an old western wooden porch on a beautiful sunny blue sky day. There was wild grass and little brush that covered the rolling hills beyond. I looked up and there appeared about 30 white balls. One SLAMMED hard into the dirt about 50 feet in front of me, causing the dirt to fly high, wow. And then another slightly to it's rear and to the right about 10 feet, just behind the dry bush, this 'white ball' SLAMMED into the dirt and the dirt went flying! Startled, I woke up. END.

NOTE: I didn't feel any fear. What were these 'White Balls'? I didn't see any sparks or fire, just a lot of dirt flying. They didn't have tails as if coming from any direction, but directly at me. Where they missiles, stars, meteorites? I have no clue, but I was protected whatever they were.
