Nov 23, 2019 1 am I just woke up from a dream! There was a long banquet table with many seats. People came from everywhere and filled the table. I sat down among them. Jesus appeared with a servants attire on (kind of like a butler with a towel draped on His arm). He began serving each person seated there a plate of food. When He had served us, we all thanked Him with joy and began to eat. You could tell that everyone was pleased with what they had received and ate as if the meal was delicious! After while, some began to speak up and share with others what their dish tasted like. Some agreed “yes it tastes like this and that”, others disagreed “no way, it tastes like this.” Even others sad “no! It tastes like that!” The whole table broke out into a heated argument. Some stood up to yell at others, some sat quietly in shock. Some started to call names and others started to throw their food or insist that others taste their plate of food. Some got so upset that they got up and started to leave the table. It was just about that time when Jesus, who was standing there silent but looking quite upset and irritated, yelled out with a mighty shout. It was so strong that it sounded like thunder that shook the room “ALRIGHT THAT’S ENOUGH! STOP!”. Everyone sat down and shut up. We all looked at Him in embarrassment and holy fear. He then spoke calm but sternly “Listen! I have served each of you your own personal dish, it is tailored to each of you. Some of you may have tasted and experienced similar things, while others are totally different but it has all been good for you! Stop arguing and getting yourselves in an uproar children! Are you not able to act mature in Christ? Must you continue to display actions of babes?! Find unity and agreement amongst you! For those who come to my table, must come in love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, kindness, and self control. Each one of you have been given a different life and a different taste of me, I am The same Lord to all but each of you knows me in a slightly different way. Neither of you are wrong by what you have tasted, so I suggest that you all get along and behave yourselves!” We all looked at Him ashamed of our behavior, we repented and apologized. We then began to find common ground. Love, Unity and Joy returned to the table as we all ate together. Then Jesus smiled, folded His arms and shook His head in approval. Wow! What a confirmation of the previous days events! Yesterday, something really had hit me due to a couple encounters with a few friends and a family member... I learned that need to tread more carefully and wisely when it comes to other believers. There are many facets to Jesus. While some may only know the height and depth of His love, another believer may only know the width and breadth, some maybe more or less. It’s a difference between baby milk, jar food, soft meat and strong meat. If one believer only knows the Lord in one sense, then they may be in objection that another facet of Jesus exists because they have not yet experienced it or embraced the possibility of it. It doesn’t mean one believer is right and the other is wrong. Milk is what food is to a baby but meat is what food is to an adult. To the adult, milk has become just a beverage for refreshment. But to a young baby it’s everything that they have ever known and experienced. To them, meat is a bad thing to be avoided because it chokes them. If someone trys to give a younger one in Christ the meatier facet of Jesus, they may choke and get hurt. They may come to believe that it’s wrong and not of God, that He surely doesn’t operate that way. It may cause them to stumble in their Faith. We are all at a different level of learning and growth! The Younger ones, should not despise the older in Christ and Older ones, should not despise the younger. We are all growing and learning here in The Lord. Nobody knows everything and we must remain humble and teachable. I’m glad I’m learning. Yesterday I heard one person telling me that I had a gift and another person praising and thanking The Lord that I shared a vision of mine with them because it was the answer to their prayers and another ask me to never speak about anything concerning visions, prophetic words, dreams or praying in tongues to them ever again because it caused them to stumble. At first my mind wanted to think that maybe I had been deceived but when I went over the word of God again in my head, I knew that couldn’t be it. I went into a quiet place to seek The Lord on the matter and He immediately said “it’s just a matter of meat and milk. Don’t discard what you’ve come to know just because someone else doesn’t know me that way.” Then He gave me the scriptures in Hebrews 5, John 16:12 and 1 Corinthians 3 when telling me what I should do. It made so much more sense and I wasn’t discouraged, confused or upset. This would have been me in earlier years. But I’m so thankful that I’m growing. I can see how He’s changing my heart and renewing my mind as I press into Him. So this was Jesus’ continuous answer when I would ask Him what I should say and what should do about the people who don’t see things about Christ the way I’ve come to know and see Him. His answer was always “Just love them. Eventually they will see and if they never do, just love them.”
