On the night of ‘World Donkey Day’ (I only discovered that afterwards!) I had a short, very strange dream/vision.

A small table was set (no surroundings) for my husband and me. He was seated and eating, oblivious of the fact that I was standing and there did not appear to be enough food for me. (My husband is not a Christian as yet).

Then, from the right, a wheeled trolley was pushed on, supporting a horizontal pole. Upon the pole were mounted 5 donkeys’ heads, which I knew had just been slaughtered, as one of the ears was twitching. The dream then finished.

I did not believe the dream was necessarily literal, as I did not resent not being able to eat; nor did I have an emotional reaction to the slaughtered animals. (I was more of an observer). In real life, I would have been devastated, so I believe that this was definitely prophetic, containing a message from the Lord.

I have some ideas as to the meaning and interpretation, but I would be intrigued to know what others think. Thank you and God bless, in anticipation...
