Last night and the morning, I had several dreams and visions, I pretty much only remember two right now, so those are what I will share. First, I woke up remembering a dream that involved my grandmother (Elma Fischer...my father's mother), sitting on what I think was like a bench of a picnic table...but it was inside a house. My father, Richard Fischer Sr. (I'm Richard Jr.), was standing at in front and just to the right end of the table, holding a large old style folding paper map, which he was reading to plan a route to take my grandmother somewhere. In real life, my grandmother went home to be with the Lord in 1994, but my father, though 82 years old, is still alive. In this dream, they both looked considerably younger...I suspect about the way they looked perhaps in the last 70's or early 80's...so about 40 years younger. Both had good posture...and were not stuped over like many older people get. My dad has been facing away from my grandmother while reading the map, but turned back towards her as he folded it back up. I commented to him that I was surprised he even needed a map, because he had such a good memory for directions, but he made some comment about getting older and not remembering as well as he used to. Both of them were also wearing glasses (which they do in real life...although my dad only wears reading glasses now because he had laser surgery done years ago to correct his 20/400 vision (legally blind). When I woke up from this dream, I really wasn't sure what it meant, so I prayed for awhile asking the Lord if He would show me something else. During that time, I had a vision seeing myself and my wife Carrie, inside what looked like a cross between the Capitol Building and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. Niether of us were wearing glasses (we both do now), and we were standing up straight, with big happy smiles on our faces like we knew we were where we were supposed to be and doing what we were supposed to do. We have known for about a year and a half, that we have some level of Governmental calling, but still do not exactly know what it is. I had a dream sometime this past year, of meeting President Trump, shaking his hand, and telling him what a good job he was doing...and I have had other dreams that have had a Presidential tone to them...but not with Trump. What began to surface in my mind as I considered all these things, was the Scripture in Psalm 103:5, which speaks about our youth being renewed as the eagle. I felt the Lord saying that all the negative things that my wife and I have experienced in the last 40 years, where being separated from us as far as the east is from the west, which included my parents telling me that I would need glasses by the time I turned 40 (and that is exactly when I needed to start wearing them). I personally believe God is reversing that, as well as any other negative word curse spoken over us, that eyes and backs were going to be healed, and that we would walk uprightly and confidently into our calling, which I know includes, but is not limited to, bringing God's healing to others. After receiving this word this morning, we attended our fourth service at Victory Christian Center in New Caney, Texas, and after the first worship song, the drummer stepped out from behind his drums...took the microphone, and much to my amazment, began reading from Psalm 103, the same Psalm God had given me just a few hours earlier!!! So here is Psalm 103 in it's entirety. Be richly blessed in our wonderfully beautiful and all powerful Messiah!!! Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 6 The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. 7 He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. 8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. 9 He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. 10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. 11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; 12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. 13 As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him. 14 For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. 15 As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. 17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, 18 To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them. 19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all. 20 Bless the LORD, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. 21 Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure. 22 Bless the LORD, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!
