If you decide this is where God wants you, Then be prepared to move there or close by. Safe havens are NOT going to be in your back yard. At first only invest 500 dollars into the effort. Work there as much as possible. Asked questions but don't offer to many suggestions. Be aware of everything, Sometimes things are not what they seem. After some time you will know the people there and their hearts. If you still feel God wants you there it is time to invest. Do the best you can. Learn the flow charts, know where things are and you will become a person in leadership. Take your department to the next level, the Lord will give you wisdom, and ability. Soon YOU will be one of GODS key people in HIS safe haven plan. When we stand before Him and others make comments, may they say, "Being at this safe haven was such a blessing, You were kind, helpful, you put others ahead of yourself, and you were a example of the love of Christ." WELL DONE good and faithful servant. God bless, David

Each safe haven should have a contact person in the forum. They should have a burnner phone. When someone calls, a meeting should be set up at a eating place in a nearby town. If you decide to meet with the contact person you should take proof of residence.[12 months of electric bills], a letter from your banker, a letter from you pastor. You should have a resume, start it with your testimony, and what you believe. The contact person will then know you are serious. At the lunch ask these questions, How long have you been doing this? When was the safe haven started? Did the Lord tell you to do this? Tell me about miracles that you have seen in the building of this place. How many people are you preparing for? Can I visit? More than likely you will be able to visit after you finish eating. David

After you have found the people and the location, the following list will help you allocate your resources. People will react to these things listed in order. #1. Breathing-If you are not breathing nothing else matters; learn CPR, buy N-95 mask with the outlet valve from Northern Safety. #2- Someone shooting at you. You will react even if your are bleeding: Prepare to defend yourselves. #3 Bleeding, direct pressure, Army tourniquet, the new ones that are wide, tampax and Quick Stop. #4Freezing, Get those instant hand warmers for hunters, wool blankets, military artic gear, have many ways to start fires, and cut fire wood for TWO years in advance and Buddy heaters. #5 Water, Stored water, wells, creeks, lakes and Water purification equipment. #6 Meds, These are for people that will die without them, example, insulin. #7 Shelter, Tents are not good long term shelters, you need insulated, buildings. #8 Food, short term and long term, You must plant .5 acers per person per year. #9 Waste, If you don't deal with sewage it will deal with you. #10 Morale, depression kills Pray often, read, Movies, games, parties, time for couples to be together, Electricity! Laughter doeth good like a medicine. David

Elizabeth, I have written five papers on safe havens. I am sending them to you for review. You may use them if you like. Thanks David. The first one: The Lord has asked me to write short papers on safe havens. He called on me in 1970 to be a helper in the end times and arranged for me to attend many schools. I have been working in the area of safe havens for many years. First, people are the greatest asset. God loves people more than anything. Choosing the right people for leadership and the community will be difficult. People who know how and people who have taken the how and made it work are few. Talk is cheap! People with vision, who hear the Lord, with the end time calling in their DNA, and have the Noah tenacity, are rare indeed. Being with the right people can be life or death. Second, location is the next most important thing. Have faith and patience, the Lord will lead you to the right place. It is NOT going to be in you backyard. This needs to be 100 miles from major cities, 10 miles from small towns. It must have creeks, a lake, fields for planting, fruit trees, two to three growing seasons, and plenty of trees for fire wood. It needs to border a national forest or paper company forest. You need to live there, or in the area, learn the ways of the people, the land, the vegetation, the animals, the weather, topo maps, the roads, and the secrets of the community. 📷
