If you asked sincerely, in the right tone of voice, you'd likely received a simple explanation as to why this site was shut down. If I were to guess, it's probably because of some sort of abuse. But that's only a guess, maybe techical issues that most of us wouldn't understand, unless we've also ever undertaken the same challenge of building a website with multiple links and pages, and keeping up with thousands of people free to flood in at will.
