Any time I hear of amputations, I'm always reminded of a very powerful vision I was given in 2000. The vision was of Jesus and I walking towards the locked gates of hell. I was on his right hand side. The gates were black iron, on gate that could open right, and another that could open left, and there were two demons standing guard, one on the hinge side of each gate. When we were about 20 feet from the gates, we stopped, the Lord turned to me. He was wearing an dingy white, perhaps sackcloth tunic. I turned towards Him, and he reached into His right hand pocket and pulled out a silver key, it was shaped like His cross, and covered in His blood, and he handed it to me. Without saying a word, I knew that I needed to unlock hells gates, retrieve the piles of dismembered body parts that were trapped behind the gates and encircled by a similar black iron fence, and return them to the people they belonged to! 5 years later, in February of 2005, I was installing some shelves in the closest of a homeless shelter I was working on, when one of my coworkers came up to me, reached into his right hand pocket, and pulled out a plastic bag, and inside the bag, was the same silver cross I'd seen in my vision, and the cross was actually designed to not only be a necklace, but it doubled as a drum tuning key...so it was actually a key like in my vision!!! When I asked him why he was giving this to me, he said that a friend had given it to him the day before on valentines day, but since he did not wear jewelry, he prayed and asked God what to do with it, and God told him to give it to me!!! Then, 5 years later, in 2010, I was sharing the above testimony with a couple of teens outside of our Friday evening Sabbath service before it started. When I finished sharing, they told me of a young man who was inside trying to set up his drums to help lead worship, but he'd forgotten his drum tuning key. So I walked in and let the young man borrow it, and as He was setting up his drums, I felt the Lord tell me that this young man would be used in healing. I later learned while speaking with his mother, that earlier that week, the Lord had led that young man to go up on their roof over his mom's bedroom, and to pray that she would be healed of a very painful condition in her legs related to lupis, and the Lord told him to go down and tell his mom, that when she put her feet on the floor when she got out of bed in the morning, she would be healed, and that is exactly what happened!!! Personally, I believe there will be literal limbs miraculously restored to people, but I also believe this relates to the restoration of parts of the body of Christ, who have, either for sexual immorality or other reasons, been disfellowshiped from a congregation, or had disfellowshipped themselves because they at that point didn't want to or felt unable to give up their sinful behaviors.
