(I had this dream in January)
Here's the dream: I was in my old church back home . And my old Pastor (Pastor Martin) was talking to us NOT preaching but talking to us... The Church was semi-dark and we were listening for what he was about to tell us. Juanita Bynum, and one of my old friends was there in the crowd. I was sitting with a mini skirt on and my legs were crossed and I could see parts of my thigh flesh hanging out. Then, Pastor Martin begin to talk to us about how disturbed he was because they (his staff) had ordered a pizza but he couldn't eat it because of the stench and he continued with how bad the smell was...at that time I raised my hand and said "oh Lord" and then again I raised my hand the second time and all of a sudden...I was engulfed by Holy Spirit and began to speak in the most purest, holy tongues I have ever heard...there was dead silence in the church and I knew I was about to prophesy but then the tongues ceased and Pastor Martin said "WE'RE NOT READY YET" and then again the second time "WE'RE NOT READY YET." and I woke up. Here's what I'm afraid of something is coming within the earth realm and the church nor the Believers are ready for what's about to take place.
thank you, dear sister, for posting you dream. The 'stench' represents the filthy church that is not ready for CHRIST's return. The mini skirt represents the worldly ways of the church. The pastor saying 'we are not ready yet,' means that the CHURCH needs to clean up its act because JESUS comes back. Sort of remind me of the BLOG I just did:

Just an impression really. The old church could mean "church" the way it has historically always been done. The fact that it was semi dark could mean a lack (not an absence) of devine light or inspiration. Your mini skirt could represent exposure of flesh i.e. worldliness or vulnerability. Your friend could represent familiarity with the way things have always been. Food has usually meant the instructions or wisdom we get from the Word. Smell is usually linked with prayer. I think the tongues are just about devine instruction and prophecy, so here is my impression.
The old ways aren't going to work anymore. The scent of our prayers and the taste of our teachings have become corrupt. If we want to receive God's inspiration we are going to have to make ourselves vulnerable, to stop just listening and waiting for the old ways to instruct us as to what to do. We have to give ourselves completely to the Lord even if that means stepping out of the old familiar ways. Our God is ready to tell us something. But if we cling to passively receiving from our old traditions, we won't be ready. Maybe it is time to move into some unfamiliar and slightly uncomfortable conversations. For that we will have to hang onto the truly non-negotiables. For me that is 1. My Creator loves me. 2. My Creator is truly good. 3. Jesus lives and he is exactly who he said he is. 4. He has redeemed me from my sin. 5. My Lord has a plan for me and it is good, no matter how it may feel.
Again, just my impression.
