Wow! I am excited to share with my brothers and sisters of the GREAT thing God just did! On Thursday, my husband got a frantic call from one of his siblings that his sister Sylvia was in the hospital and that we needed to come right away. We hastily packed our bags and jumped into the car and settled into our 5 hour drive to Bakersfield Ca. I wasn't sure how to pray as I know the hard life she has led and I know she would be excited to be HOME with Jesus. So we prayed for HIS will to be done and if possible for her to hang on long enough for her big brother, my husband Israel, to get there and say goodbye. Well, HE did much much more than that! She had just had a heart attack and was on life support and they were asking for her immediate family members as the prognosis was not good. Her ordeal started months ago when she was diagnosed with Tuberculosis. As children, their entire household was exposed and were suppose to be on medication but some of them did not take it and the disease has laid dormant all of this time. There was a large mass on her lungs that they suspected to be cancerous and it made it very difficult to breath and they were planning on surgery when she was rushed to the hospital because of complications concerning low blood pressure. She went into cardiac arrest on Thursday and when the doctor opened her up he had found that one of her arteries was 99% blocked, another was completely gone and he was able to clear the third just enough for her to receive enough blood to keep her heart pumping. At this point, that was all the information they would give us. Over the course of the next few days the nurses were very vague about her prognosis and we were getting frustrated with them at the lack information that they were sharing with us. Little did we know that the heart surgeon and the lung doctor were stunned and were struggling to process what had just occurred. When she woke up and became aware of her surroundings, she told us that she had died and saw the light but Jesus had sent her back and told her that it wasn't her time yet. We were so thankful that we were overjoyed but the best part was yet to come. The next day the heart surgeon verified that she indeed did pass away but she was revived and that he had just witnessed a miracle. He described with tears in his eyes that it as the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. As the doctor stood over her and attempted to save her life, a bright light came in and He witnessed God repairing her heart. He said that he watched as new blood vessels appeared and they looked like flowers blooming. Than HE created a new artery right before the doctor's eyes! Amazing that a doctor would even admit it as very few of them have faith to begin with. But regardless of his beliefs in HIM, the Creator did what he does best, Creates! I can only begin to imagine how this miracle spread through out the hospital and then will eventually touch thousands if not millions of lives as the word spreads like wildfire. But wait, HE wasn't done yet. Later on that day the lung surgeon revealed to us that, to his amazement, the lung mass was also gone and there was no trace of TB! HALLELUJAH! PRAISE JESUS! GLORY BE TO YHWH THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH! This is only the beginning folks! Yes, we are going to go through tough times, as it is written, but for those of us who love him with all our hearts, we are going to witness HIS glory like never before!
