Hello all, last night I had a pretty intense dream that I feel was a message and I want to share it with you all.
I dreamed that I was helping prepare food (Cakes) for wherever we were going, and the cakes were decorated like American flags. We didn't have enough product to complete the cakes, but once we were done we loaded onto a bus to head to wherever we were going. Next I was on a pier and a HUGE cruise ship was tumbling to shore. I was somehow protected as it tumbled over me, almost like the part that came down on me was an open window or door so I was unharmed. As I entered the cruise ship, I noticed everything was charred and covered in ash. I noticed dead bodies everywhere which were also covered in ash, and also frozen in place of where they were when the turmoil hit. As I made my way up to the top floors of the ship, I was helping children make their way back to their parents who were alive in other areas. After this, I was in a sort of refuge area outside of the ship, observing people getting medical attention and rest, and I stopped next to a man who was crying, and I began praying with him.
A few things to break down first:
The kitchen, cakes, and bus: The kitchen is where we prepare food, and food represents spiritual truth in Gods word. We are using this time now to prepare what we are going to have to feed the spiritually hungry at that time. We won't have a full meal complete for them, because they have to do some of the work on their own. It will be our job to introduce the truth to them and help them find God through the word and show them the way. The bus was symbolic of the ministry we will be serving together at that time to spread the truth. I believe that the American flag in this scene was symbolic of our job in America at this time, though it may be everywhere else or other nations as well.
Shipwreck, dead bodies, and ash: I think the shipwreck and dead bodies can be literal, but I also think this is symbolic of the spiritual deaths (falling away) that will happen at the time of this turmoil. Large ships can represent a ministry, and this wreck may symbolize the devastation the church feels after this.. complete confusion on why god would allow this to happen (due to being asleep and not watchful). The Shipwreck also represents lack of faith through disasters in life. 1 Tim. 1:19 Now, the ash is symbolic of complete destruction (which will be both literal and spiritual) Amos 2:1 and the dead bodies represent the spiritual deaths many will suffer due to a lack of faith and a faith not truly ROOTED in our god. The great falling away within the church. Psalms 110:6
Children and their parents: One purpose we served in this dream was to help these children find their way back to their parents, and comfort them in their confusion. When we are born again, we are made to be like little children, and through this, the mature believers will facilitate the "children" back to the father through the confusion and terror. We will help provide comfort for those that don't understand, through the word of God. Matthew 18:3
Place of refuge and prayer: This was symbolic of what we will be offering the lost through this scary and confusing time. We will be responsible for facilitating spiritual refuge and caring for those that god will send to us. THIS is our duty in the coming days. THIS is what we need to not lose sight of!
I was led to Amos 4-6 as a confirmation. I urge you to read these chapters for yourself, but it speaks largely on three main concepts... Judgment on people who wont return and turn back to god, though he has given warnings to help us wake up (hurricanes, volcanoes, etc), lamentation for the number of people who do not take time to study the word, get to know the father, and learn the truth through Him for themselves. For this number is much greater than the number of people who ARE in his word. Amos 5:3 for we are to seek Him and live, and woes to those who trust is false security and false promises which the world has to offer. Chapter 6 talks about God's loathing of pride and palaces. God loathes pride and building up earthly treasures to glorify ourselves rather than him and what hes done. Our stuff is false luxury and has nothing to do with God. This is all the epitome of America right now in history. It breaks my heart for the people who are so unknowing, but prepare brothers and sisters, for we will have lots of work to do, and there is lots of work to do even now. Stay in the word and remember our purpose. Shalom!
as the "old days"...shepherd...the new, the message, invokes a responsibility to the new/old generation to take care of the lost sheep, Jesus was given responsibility for. thank you for sharing your dream and interpretation that is greatly needed in these times of Jacob's trouble.
