I dreamed I was in a car with my son. We were in the left lane and saw a stalled car in front of us with a man standing outside the car.

We attempted to switch to the right lane, but a very large gold truck (an over-sized pick-up) would not let us switch lanes. The truck sped up and prevented us from switching lanes.

Scene Changes: We are now in the right lane, however, we are behind a slow-moving, pick-up truck pulling a trailer. The pick-up truck with the trailer is turning left at the next intersection, and we plan to turn right. I told my son to “Stay back.” The pick-up truck then turns left.

Scene Changes: The truck makes what looks like a 360 degree turn, however, now I see a sedan facing me. I see a man driving the sedan and know he has evil intentions. I sensed the darkness.

(I discerned this in the dream.)

I cursed the dark spirits in Jesus' Holy name The sandy haired man with blue eyes gives me a very mean look and a nod. (He is forced to yield to us and let us turn right.)

We turn right to head to our destination.

Dream ends.

Interpretation: Satan will continuously use a variety of devices to prevent us from getting to our destination. His purposes are always to hinder the Christian, because he hates all Christ followers. However, our victory was won in Jesus on the cross. We have power in Jesus' name over the darkness. We must utilize our spiritual authority in Jesus to defeat the enemy. Below are a four thoughts regarding this dream.

1. We have an adversary, Satan, so we must be vigilant and be prepared to take action.

1 Peter 5:18 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

2. Satan will hinder you.

1 Thessalonians 2:18 Therefore we wanted to come to you—even I, Paul, time and again—but Satan hindered us.

3. We must stay strong in our FAITH, stay the course, the RIGHT LANE with God.

2 Tim. 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

We must actively be in tune with God.

Reading the Holy Scriptures, praying always, obeying the scriptures, and fellowshipping with other believers.

4. Through Christ we stand in a position of Victory. Christ is the head over all principalities and powers, we stand in a position of Victory

We must pray against any hindrances of satan and curse all darkness in Jesus’ Holy Name.

We must take authority over the spiritual darkness to gain the victory.

Satan has many devices, but he has to submit to the Holy Name of Jesus.

Colossians 2:9 For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

10 And ye are complete in him (Christ), which is the head of all principality and power:

Job 5:12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward (opposition) is carried headlong (brought to a quick end).

Psalms 60:12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
