I feel I have been disobedient to God. He started giving me warnings in 2018 and I didn't speak them out. In October last year, 2019, He kept giving me scriptures about the flow of water and clean cisterns. I then heard 3 confirmations by 3 different people: 1. be a pipe water flows through, allow God to flow through you, not only in, but in and out. 2. don’t plug up the flow, be ‘like a fawcet’. 3. don’t let the river run dry, don’t stop the flow, let me flow in and out. I understood by this that he was telling me to speak out what he had been telling me - but by this time, he had given me so many dreams and messages, I didn't know which ones to share. I put some of them on this dream forum, and I also created a website recently including the dreams and some of my studies of scripture and some of my testimony. I hope it's not unethical to put it on this site, but could I reach out to people on this forum to also visit my website and share it with others if you feel so led? The website address is https://heartofgod106.wixsite.com/website and the link to the blog is https://heartofgod106.wixsite.com/website/blog.
These are the words he gave, copied and pasted from my journal. I didn't know what time these messages were for, but I think it begins now. Please read them and take them to heart:
End July 2018 – I so feel through the verses he is giving me that we are being prepared for what lies ahead. I keep feeling that things are going to get tough, and we’re going to have to go through some stuff that’s not enjoyable, but it will make us stronger. I feel that far from being evidence that God has left us or forgotten us, this tough time will be evidence of his love for us because if he does not prepare us, or wake us up, we will not stand, we will fall.
30th September 2018 – Story of Gideon…. the angel of the Lord came to him when he was least expecting it, when times were hard, and he was ‘threshing the wheat in the wine press so as not be caught by the Midianites’. Sometimes I feel like we the Christians will be ‘in the wine press’ while God puts us through some serious trials, but it will really be threshing the wheat, purifying us. Gideon was obedient and pulled down the alters to foreign gods… He did this in the darkness. (Our times are dark). His strength was not in numbers, it was in God, who gave him victory after whittling down the odds to a point where victory seemed impossible. I am noticing this message more and more lately from God, that he shows himself when we are in a place where there is no visible way out, where things couldn’t get any worse and when it seems there is no hope or no logical resolve. I don’t know if this message is just for me or for the body of Christ, but I feel it is talking about something which will come in the near future, something which will seem insurmountable, and obedience and faith will be required.
14th October 2018 – Read in Isaiah today about the righteousness and justice of God….about the righteous being in the paths of God’s judgement, being faithful to him. What is he saying? That some of us are in the path of his judgement and we must rely on Psalm 91, take refuge in him?
31st October 2018 – Read in Isaiah last night that God’s staff will once again lift the sea as he did in Egypt…..God has been stressing about coming out of the world, the second exodus, letting go of stuff that’s not important.
2nd November 2018 – …. we have to prepare ourselves to come out of the world and lose our worldly pleasures etc. The extension of that is the Exodus – God is leading us to something new, it will probably involve leaving our comfort zones and being in a wilderness of sorts for a time. It’s important that we do not grumble or complain…. Something is coming, God is in control and he is preparing his people.
3rd November 2018 – A prophetic couple are visiting our church….in light of Exodus…She said God drew her attention to sunset (it was sunset in my dream when we were trying to escape), which in Biblical terms is the start of a new day (darkness – (spiritual / moral darkness?) – as in the Gideon story) She says God is going to lead us into something new and we must not be afraid….
…the Exodus is coming up repeatedly…, judgements from God but the righteous were protected, not by their own righteousness, but by the blood over their doorposts, of course symbolising the blood of Christ. The people were obedient to God. We are seeing in the world strange things, blood rivers, plagues, weather – most prominently since 2015. God’s people eventually left Egypt, leaving behind many things, but taking with them precious things (coming out of the world, realizing what is truly important and what is not). They were pursued by the enemy. This calls for faith in Jesus and endurance. Instead of rejoicing in the wilderness, they grumbled, longed to go back to Egypt and despised the promised land. They were idolaters and not only were they severely judged, most of them did not enter the promised land. Warning again to see God’s mercy in our circumstances and be joyful, not depressed, about where we’re at….We must remain thankful and faithful. Why is God stressing the Exodus? Because it is a paradigm, a type, a foreshadow. And of course, the message about ‘do not fear’ directly relates to it, because they feared the giants in the land and lacked faith, they trusted in their eyes and not in God (walk by faith and not by sight) – so many of God’s messages over the past few months all interconnect with the Exodus. He wants us to come out of the world. We must not fight it, we must follow him.
Wednesday 16th January 2019 - We have to be generous and share while everyone else is hoarding and thinking selfishly. Psalm 73
28th January 2019 - I feel like God is screaming at us ‘give me your time willingly and I won’t have to allow these things to happen’…. If we do not give God the time he needs with us willingly, we can expect a time when he will force it on us, because his purpose will be accomplished, and he will get rid of our distractions. He will do this for our own good. I think he would rather we do it as a willing choice…he is saying we must feed his household…how are we supposed to do it? What does he mean? Who? Where? When? I’m sure he will make things happen when they are supposed to….
